A lovely pub in a sleepy village. Wonderful real ales and a cracking wine list to match. The 3 courses were absolutely wonderful. Excellent presentation and local produce encouraged. Would thoroughly recommend a visit if your in the area.

Attentive service and really good food . We asked for a table to be laid outside as it was a balmy evening and it was'nt a problem ; we were told... More

We hadn't been here for years, and decided to try this place again on a whim. (After a long drive, and being tired and hungry!) It has changed hands and was excellent. We visited on a Tuesday, I had the fish, with proper freshly made tartar sauce. (Always a good sign!)The food was excellent and the service was great, friendly... More

Exceptional Sunday lunch. Two of us had beef, one had Hake. Both meals were fantastic. Pricey, but well worth it for such nice food. Mens loos could do with a revamp tho! Will definitely be returning.

Having rained all week on my visit to Wales my cousin took me to The Raglan Arms at Llandenny. The sun came out on our way there and we received a very warm welcome from the comparatively new owner and staff when we went into the pub (I believe they have been there about a year). Prompt service, we sat... More

If I go out for Sunday lunch then I expect to be offered a choice of at least two roasts but to our surprise found only roast beef on the menu which luckily we were all happy to have. After a very long wait my wife had to go and find a waiter to take our order The first thing... More

We do apologise that you have felt the need to post a review that your meal last Sunday, being Father’s Day, wasn’t up to your expectation. Particularly so as you say it was your birthday, although no mention was made of this at the time the reservation was made. Your reservation was made for 1.30pm, at which time you and... More

I was one of the twelve friends mentioned in previous review and would like to second everything my friend wrote in her review. I Had the boar pate with piccalilli to start which was delicious . My main was the roast beef which was cooked to perfection and for dessert I had the pear and dark chocolate crumble with vanilla... More

Visited with 12 friends for Sunday Lunch and we were not disappointed with either the service or the quality of the food. As a person who dines out regularly on Sunday I have waited years to find a restaurant that cook roast potatoes exactly as I love them, crispy on the outside with a fluffy inside, and the Rag Arms... The Raglan Arms is a gem of a pub restaurant in the heart of the Monmouthshire countryside. Front of House owner manager Judith is a charming hostess and the chef is a genius! Although a little bit more pricey than your average pub food (and I don't go out to eat average food - ever) the dining experience is well... More
