The drive takes about 1:10 from San Juan, but it is well worth it. First of all, the drive in the mountains of Morocovis is gorgeous. Then you come across the Casa Bavaria, and the views from here are breathtaking. But the authentic german food is superb, and the authentic german beers are great too. A really great day. Go... Such a different place...It has so much German feel, but it is in the middle of the mountains.. Be prepared for the driving!!! The views are magnificent. Customer service could be a little better.

If you like the "chinchorreo" and visiting new places around the island, this is definite one of the places to go. Located in PR-155 en route to Orocovis, this is a restaurant where you can hang out, enjoy the spectacular view, drink authentic german beer and food. Just tried the Schofferhofer (grapefruit) beer and it was delicious. Simply great! Chinchorreo=... More

Casa Bavaria was created and is currently owned by a german couple who came to PR approximately 20 years ago. It is located in the central area (mountains) but is easy to reach, approximately 35-40 mins from San Juan. Food is excellent and service exceptional. There is two menus, one german the other of Puerto Rican food. The view is... More

This place is incredible. Up on the side of a mountain, it offers both a full German and Puerto Rican menu. The service is awesome and the trip up there will be worth every minute. Reasonably priced as well. Try the shrimp stuffed mofongo. Will definitely return on my next trip.

It was so good. I had a hamburger. It tasted delicious, like a piece of art. There was a great view of the beautiful mountains on the top floor of the restaurant.

Casa Bavaria bring the flavors of Bavarian dishes and Puerto Rican cuisine together. Excellent choices of Tap and bottled beers at a reasonable price. The staff and owners are friendly and the view will take your breath away. Good food, good people, definitely a must when visiting the Central Mountain range.
