Bit disappointed after reading some of the reviews. Curry was pretty bland and had too much potato. Iced lemon tea was standard. Friendly and prompt service. Choice of music was interesting and by interesting I mean depressing. However, always happy to support a non- for profit org.

The atmosphere was a bit depressing, especially with the type of music playing, kind of wanted to drown my sorrows in more alcohol (never a good idea). The service was quick, the food ok, I had the beef rangdang and the meat was really chewy. I won't be going back with so many other options available in the area.

Read the reviews & decided to come here. Food was really good & all for a good cause. The Indonesian soup was in a small bowl but it was very tasty & came with rice. Quality over quantity I suppose.

I tried this cafe, because it was listed as no 3 in trip advisor. The staffs are nice, the prices are normal and the food just regular. Nothing special with this place if your with family. But if you want to chill out with your, this could be your place 😊

Very affordable food and drinks in a not for profit enterprise. Had great milkshakes and snacks here. The service was pleasant and speedy. A superb spot to take a break.

This lovely cafe serves lovely food at reasonable prices. The cafe also sells some great local handicrafts and oils etc. These are all made by families that have very low incomes, and all proceeds go directly to them.

I met Della on the street where I had lost my credit card and I needed someone to transfer money to so I could access funds. She did this with out hesitation and mentioned she had a cafe across the road and as I was hungry so I said of course. The nicest lady and then after she explained to... More

We heard the cafe did nice food but didn't know to expect such an interesting place and didn't know it was not-for-profit. The food was great; I had delicious tuna pepes, and my boyfriend devoured his gado gado so I think that gets a thumbs up. The menu comes with lots of information about the Global Village Foundation and the... More
