We visited Bori Mami in august. A very nice place with a perfect location, clean & very nice facilities and great staff. Nice menue with good variations. Very creative and well presented dishshes. Tried the Guinea fowl, which was great. Also the desserts were very...nice. Tried the floating island, which was a fantastic, and actually floating, creation. All in all a very nice place that we will be very happy to visit again.More

I had a weekday lunch at Bori Mami with my husband ans my daughter. As it was a pretty cold day we had a tea and we were impressed by the selection they had. I could say the same about the service and the quality...of the meals. My daughter had a broth with chicken and vegetables and she loved it. My husband went for a seasonal goose leg and I had a vegetarian meal: baked celery "ravioli". The presentation was beautiful and the taste was rich. We had cheesecake and "llúdláb" cake as dessert which were a delight too! Highly recommended.More

We had lunch here after a hike in the Mátra mountains nearby. The staff are welcoming and attentive, the interior decoration is elegant. We ordered jerusalem artichoke cream soup, then veal liver for me and beef ragout for her as the main course, closing with...coffees. The dishes were excellent, we had a great meal, prices are reasonable for the value. I'd like to give five points to the place, but even though there were few guests, service was slow and the ragout was too salty. However, we will visit again if we are in the area and I recommend this restaurant to others as well.More

Simply thank you for the experience. :) The staff was welcoming and helpful. The food quality is reaching the highest standards, competing with high end restaurants at Budapest. The tastes and the plate designs are simply great. Price side, i would have payed close to...double for similar quality at Budapest.More

Had a family lunch here with a 1yo kid. Really nice and cosy place, excellent customer service and good (although not outstanding) food. Recommend the layered potatoes with the home baked bread. Good coffee.

Gulash without smoked ham more better. The veal liver very creamy isn't nice. The bread was really dry.

We were travelling through Gyongyos and were really hungry, so we stopped at Bori Mami. The staff was really kind and fast, we ordered our drinks and food and in 15 minutes we were already eating. The food was great and enough. I would suggest...to stop by and try this nice restaurant.More

The dishes are exquisite and the service is excellent too! Our absolute favorite was the veal liver (with wild mushrooms, dumpling and fried salad) pictured below. A fun twist to a classic is the Hungarian stew of trotters, breaded 😆 as we Hungarians tend to...bread everything, it's a pun well intended!More

We visited this restaurant with friends to have lunch on a nice Saturday. The meals looked good and they were really delicious. The portions were larger compared to similar quality restaurants in Budapest. The waiters were not really professional, they were very slow and forgot...about multiple orders. I hope that they will improve while collecting experience. The prices are affordable and they offer a good value for the money.More
