We reserved the place and pre-ordered the meals for our group, and they were prepared. The service was a bit slow but helpful. The meals I tried were not outstanding but OK. Draft beer was fine but coffee was of poor quality.

After a long excursion we decided to try this restaurant in Sástó and we haven't been disappointed.
Service was good, the food excellent and the environment magical near the lake in Sástó.
We could sit outside as the weather was fine, I can say only positive things about it.

The typical Hungarian meal is very affordable to taste specialities. The outdoor location is very comfortable, small wind blows, cool. Also, friendly to visitors with pets, pets allowed

We arrived one hour before closing time. The restaurant was not full. Maybe because of this, but we got excellent service. The quantity and quality of the meals were outstanding. The bill was correct, in-line with the price list.
One remark: be aware that the Restaurant is BEHIND the similarily named Sástó Csárda, which is closer to the parking lot (and less good. We tried that one as well accidentally)
