I can not confirm the experiense of the last comments. Waiters where friendly, created special vegetarian spaghetti for us, asked if butter and cheese are ok. As very often, be friendly with waiters, they will be with you! Meals also good for all 4 of us. I recommend!

Gluten free pizza

Outdoor seating along the canal is great for views of the colourful houses. Staff brought me gluten free crackers when they found out I was coeliac. Gluten free pizza costs around €2.50 extra but this seems standard at all the restaurants I visited in Venice. The base appeared shop bought and took longer to arrive but was still really nice. There are a large variety of pizza toppings available to choose from, although most included meat.

Delicious lunch and great waiter

We stopped for lunch at this canal-side establishment, and we all chose the seafood pasta, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. We finished our meal with a glass of Vin Santo which was a served with the local, buttery biscuits, which you dip in the wine. Sublime. We were looked after by a lovely young chap, with excellent English, but I’m afraid I can’t remember his name!

It took ages for us to be asked for our order, despite tables around us being asked for theirs. We were not given bread unlike other tables. The pizza we ordered was fine, nothing special and was relatively small compared to pizzas on other tables. When it came to settling the bill, we were told we couldn't pay by card as we had not spent 30euros. However the table next to us ordered the same as us and paid by card with no problems. We were very polite the whole time, so left confused as to how we received the service we did.

It is the second time I go to Burano and I have always found myself very happy in this informal place but with well-prepared Italian Venetian cuisine. Excellent tagliatelle with scallops and bigoli with sardine pasta. The pizza is also good. The desserts were fantastic, especially the pistachio one. The multilingual waiter is courteous, friendly and knowledgeable, the very kind owner let me taste a delicious chocolate liqueur. The price is within the norm of Burano and the quality of the cuisine I would say is excellent.

We took the risk during our stay in Burano to try this restaurant which was generally well rated but which did not have all good reviews. Maybe we shouldn't have. The welcome is impeccable and warm, the interior decoration is atypical. The problem didn't come from there... We decided to order a Select Spritz (at 8 euros!), which is supposed to be one of the specialties of the region, to my great disappointment, it tasted more like Select drowned in water. It wasn't fizzy, and really had almost no taste other than flavored water. (While the real recipe is made with Select, Prosecco, and sparkling water, with an olive) The pizzas aren't incredible at all either... we had brie and gorgonzola pizzas, we're still looking for it because there were so few, and my pizza had a fishy aftertaste even though it was at Speck and Brie.. The pizza dough is pretty good but not magnificent. Very big disappointment regarding the food in the restaurant. I think there are much better options for the same price in other restaurants nearby. The waiter was still friendly but that's not enough to make it a good restaurant.

Great food and top staff!!!

Excellent food and very friendly and competent staff! We have two people with celiac disease in our family who were served excellently without contamination, even though the restaurant is not certified. We booked in advance, explaining the whole situation, and there were no problems of any kind, on the contrary, there was a lot of availability and attention on the part of the staff. Tasty appetizers and first courses (of fresh fish) and served with generous portions! Compliments!

Delicious Relaxing Lunch

After a day of quite a bit of shopping in Burano, it was nice to sit down and enjoy a relaxing lunch. The wine was chilled, the food fresh and delicious. It was great. Service was good as we sat outside and enjoyed the day. I enjoyed the prosciutto and melon very much, and the calamari was also good (though I don't usually eat calamari). It was everything you'd want for a lunch break.

We ate very fresh fish, cooked to perfection. The fruit risotto with scallops and mushrooms and the fried seafood are excellent. Excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. Fair prices for the quality offered. All the same for celiacs too! Highly recommended for those who love fish! Greetings from the friends of Naples!

Nice little place

Nice little restaurant. Food is good and they are extremely kids friendly. Besides a baby chair we got both a baby cup and crayons to draw on the paper cloth on the table. We would recommend this restaurant.

Great find!

We had a delicious lunch - initially we just wanted to avoid the heat but knew we would need to order food. We loved everything! Caprese salad, pizza, calamari. We regretted not ordering the seafood spaghetti which looked amazing!

Try it, you won't be disappointed

We wanted a simple authentic lunch that matched the charm and beauty of the region. They delivered in abundance. We had the simplest spaghetti (with tomato sauce) and it was delish, we had spaghetti with clams, best on our two month European tour and pizza that was crispy, fresh, sweet and got the spot. Staff friendly, affordable and seated on the canal gave plenty to take in surrounding us. Highly recommend and deserves a higher ranking than provided.

Quality and kindness, for gourmets

Despite the tourist location here you can find refined and particular dishes. Excellent service, quick and friendly, attentive and precise. Absolutely recommended. The first courses and the tasting plate were excellent

My friends and I went to this restaurant a few days ago and we had a GREAT time. The very kind staff, we remember Luigi who was very hospitable and made us feel at home! Truly super welcoming and attentive to our every need... You may wonder... What about the food? Super!!!! We can't find a negative note! Everything delicious, clean and tasty! I travel a fair bit around the world..the first thing I do before sitting down..is to check the cleanliness of the toilets As soon as I walked in a grumpy old git asked me what I came in for..I asked him for the WC..to which he briskly opened the restaurant door..and said "no" I left...thanks for 2 reasons.. 1. Take a chill pill...the restaurant was not full and out of season.. 2. Thanks you saved me a euro being spent....
