Good place with atmosphere to spend a rainy day tasting wines. The host explained about the wines in good English.

We were recommended this place by a local as the No 1 restaurant in Sighnaghi. Also Google reviews were very favorable, but we should have stuck with the TripAdvisor reviews. 1st, I suggest only going here if you intend to do a wine tasting with...your meal, otherwise you will be forgotten by the staff and have to grab their attention for everything. 2nd, our waitress took our order which included a glass of wine. We wanted two of their lamb dishes which was their nightly special. She insisted one dish was enough for the both of us. What we got was a size dish I would consider a starter. And very little meat compared to fat and bone. As for the wine, little did we know only the one person who does the wine tasting serves any of the wine unless you straight up insist on a certain bottle. Our food came and we had to interrupt the gentleman providing a wine tasting to a larger table for our glass of wine so we could have it to drink with our dinner. We wouldn’t go back here.More

Although we were announced as wine professionals on a wine tour, the service staff was not very engaged and motivated. They didn't seem to be too interested in us. The wines we tasted were all not very convincing. The food was good and the location...worth a look, but not worth a visit. A subsequent meeting at the natural wine fair with the owner confirmed our impression.More

We were a group of 20 on our pre wedding dinner. Was tasty, great wine, very well organised, cozy, very authentic. It is a must be place in Kakhetia. Will definitely return to this place. Loved it. Must do stop

Poor menu choice. Food is delicious, Red wine was very expensive and sour - folly wine. Our feedback about wine was completely ignored.

What a lovely dining experience. Great service, polite, informative and in English. The wine on offer was all very young, 2020, still very drinkable, we were offered a taste of everything and settled on a bottle of Quinta which went very well with the meal....The potatoes and mushrooms came out first, lots of garlic and spices, delicious, followed by grilled aubergines and a cold mixed salad, both superb. The chicken was deliciously spicy and the pork fell apart on the fork. A pleasure to experience really good Georgian food.More

We had an amazing dinner here. Chicken had so much flavor. The wine was good too. Love feeling the family love. Favorite was 2 year old grandson helping with service. Thank you for a very memorable dinner.

We spent a week in Sighnaghi and ate at The Pheasants Tears twice because it was exceptionally good. The food, staff, ambiance and of course their homemade wine all combine beautifully to make this a must visit. The food is served in generous positions from...their homegrown produce, ideal for sharing. If you would like the dishes served in a particular order all you have to do is ask, or settle back with a delicious glass of natural wine and just allow the chef to cook you his amazing dishes as they come and you will enjoy a feast of freshly made Georgian cuisine. The staff were warm, friendly and so kind with our 5 month old. We were really made to feel welcome and were given time to enjoy the many dishes we ordered and to make our way through the tasting wine list at our leisure. I can't recommend highly enough. Worth two visits in a week and worth a return visit to Sighnaghi!More

We asked for a table for two and they said there was no running water in the town and the restaurant was closed. Then they accepted a group of four. We went to nearby Nikala and were very happy with the food and service.

you'll pay there 15 lari for a glass of house-wine and 35 lari for a main dish. The food we got there was the worst during our entire 3 weeks journey in Georgia. It's really hard to spoil a tomato-cucumber salad, but they managed it...- we got half-green, absolutely uneatable tomatoes in our salad at the time when all street vegetable sellers were full with amazing rape, red, sweet Georgian tomatoes. The meat in the main dish was dry and the potatoes burnt. Paid 80 laries for 2 and walked away hungry.More

We spent 10 days in Georgia and this was the best meal we had. Amazing food, not just the traditional Georgian dishes, great flavours and very creative. Very cool location and lovely cookbooks for sale. Highly recommend!

The owner greeted me warmly and stoked the wood fire for me – very welcome on a cold January night. He was friendly and welcoming, telling me not to order two dishes since one was enough – he was right and the food was excellent....I don’t like Georgian natural wines so he explained the locally-brewed beers – they were delicious. A lovely evening and I’ll be back.More

Cousine wasn't good, not recommend. Wine is ok, all what i see is by their own produce. Looks like good, but, I better choose another place next time.
