What a lovely dining experience. Great service, polite, informative and in English. The wine on offer was all very young, 2020, still very drinkable, we were offered a taste of everything and settled on a bottle of Quinta which went very well with the meal....The potatoes and mushrooms came out first, lots of garlic and spices, delicious, followed by grilled aubergines and a cold mixed salad, both superb. The chicken was deliciously spicy and the pork fell apart on the fork. A pleasure to experience really good Georgian food.More

We had an amazing dinner here. Chicken had so much flavor. The wine was good too. Love feeling the family love. Favorite was 2 year old grandson helping with service. Thank you for a very memorable dinner.

We spent a week in Sighnaghi and ate at The Pheasants Tears twice because it was exceptionally good. The food, staff, ambiance and of course their homemade wine all combine beautifully to make this a must visit. The food is served in generous positions from...their homegrown produce, ideal for sharing. If you would like the dishes served in a particular order all you have to do is ask, or settle back with a delicious glass of natural wine and just allow the chef to cook you his amazing dishes as they come and you will enjoy a feast of freshly made Georgian cuisine. The staff were warm, friendly and so kind with our 5 month old. We were really made to feel welcome and were given time to enjoy the many dishes we ordered and to make our way through the tasting wine list at our leisure. I can't recommend highly enough. Worth two visits in a week and worth a return visit to Sighnaghi!More

We asked for a table for two and they said there was no running water in the town and the restaurant was closed. Then they accepted a group of four. We went to nearby Nikala and were very happy with the food and service.

you'll pay there 15 lari for a glass of house-wine and 35 lari for a main dish. The food we got there was the worst during our entire 3 weeks journey in Georgia. It's really hard to spoil a tomato-cucumber salad, but they managed it...- we got half-green, absolutely uneatable tomatoes in our salad at the time when all street vegetable sellers were full with amazing rape, red, sweet Georgian tomatoes. The meat in the main dish was dry and the potatoes burnt. Paid 80 laries for 2 and walked away hungry.More

We spent 10 days in Georgia and this was the best meal we had. Amazing food, not just the traditional Georgian dishes, great flavours and very creative. Very cool location and lovely cookbooks for sale. Highly recommend!

The owner greeted me warmly and stoked the wood fire for me – very welcome on a cold January night. He was friendly and welcoming, telling me not to order two dishes since one was enough – he was right and the food was excellent....I don’t like Georgian natural wines so he explained the locally-brewed beers – they were delicious. A lovely evening and I’ll be back.More

Cousine wasn't good, not recommend. Wine is ok, all what i see is by their own produce. Looks like good, but, I better choose another place next time.

This was the most disappointing restaurant visit in our 5 weeks in Georgia. The staff were absolutely bored and it seemed like an effort to serve us. We stood at the door unattended before someone in the almost empty restaurant bothered to take us to...a table. The staff and friends sat at a table near us having an obviously good time but not at all interested in the guests. The food is OK as it is hard to find bad Georgian food. We asked for a bottle of 2015 Saperavi from their vineyard and they brought a 2019 version saying that the earlier years had sold out. We tasted it and it was undrinkable. Not because the wine was bad but because it should not have been served so soon after making it. This is the first time my husband has ever sent back any wine and he is from Bordeaux. This restaurant obviously thrives on tourists who only visit once and it is certainly over priced for the standard. It does not deserve the reputation is seems to enjoy.More

May have been out of season but lonely lunch with average food. Better restaurants in Signagi. We tried 3 and it was last on list.

One of the best dishes in Kakheti, organic wine and good atmosphere, classic dishes are transformed into very modern way and it gives possibility to taste something ordinary in a very interesting way.

We chose this restaurant for our only dinner in Signagi for its wine as it also own a winery. We were not disappointed. The Amber orange has a unique taste. As for the food, it was above average except for the pork. Service was acceptable....Previous complaints may be due to the seasonal staff.More

Only foreigners appear to go here, at least in the night we went. Wine selection very good, food very average and more expensive than elsewhere in town and in Georgia yet the same offer. Waitress appeared bored, never asked if food or wine was on...and wandered round with a red cardigan tied round her hips. I would go for the wines but eat elsewhere.More

Not bad but also not great. The wine was not bad, all traditional geogrian style which personally isn’t my favorite but I enjoy the tasting experience. As with many places I’ve been in Georgia, service isn’t great but that aside food wasn’t the best. We...ordered the pork dish and while the sauce was good, only 2 pieces in the dish had meat and the rest was pure fat and for me, not edible. My boyfriend ordered beef stew and the it was tasty but a few of the pieces of meat were tough. Had a bit higher expectations based on the reviews. It was also very expensive, about 50 usd, every other meal in Georgia we’ve had (even at nicer places) was around 30-35 usd.More
