Had lunch today. A cosy and comfortable place in a very interesting village. There is a choice of three menus, menu du jour and two more set ones. We took one of each of the set menus. Each had a good choice, I had scallops followed Veal and my wife the Japanese style salmon and the duck breast. They were all properly cooked, well presented and above all, very tasty. My usual thought that good bread normally means good food and this holds true here. Very good wine list with prices for everyone. Well worth a visit.

I've reviewed this restaurant before as we've been eating here since it first opened and it gets five stars without a doubt. The cooking is wonderful, the presentation first rate and the service friendly and efficient. Takeaway is much more difficult and the chef deserves a massive thank you and at least four stars with a "very good indeed". His cooking is of course equally as good but sliding/scraping the food from the container on to your own crockery is a bit hit and miss and needing to reheat also becomes an issue (we don't have a microwave). But the food's the main thing and where else will you find a takeaway offering such flavour and originality? I could go through every dish but the menu changes weekly so it won't be of much help. Suffice to say, dishes that I thought couldn't possibly work - oeuf mollet having my biggest question mark (it was served cold and really was just as yummy) - did work and were delicious. We've had chicken breast, pork belly, haddock and vegetable tartlet and lots of desserts. The only one we failed with was the chocolate fondant, but that was our fault for not warming it. So it was a bit solid. Normally we have one of each dish (choice of two for entree, main, dessert) but the chestnut egg with an intense citrus centre was so delicious we're having two this week and probably a chocolate slice as well to share. Last weekend was my husband's 75th birthday: practically no cards, no presents except what I could buy in the local Intermarché and it poured with rain. The one thing we did have was good food. Thank you Florent and Serrane - and we hope loyal customers will mean you manage to keep going through this impossibly difficult period. Merci et bonne chance.

We love eating at this wonderful restaurant and have been fortunate enough to eat here three times already this year - we have already booked for a fourth visit before we leave for the Winter elsewhere! The menus do change frequently enough to provide plenty of variety/choice for repeat diners and the chef is always prepared to make adjustments for. Vegetarians. The food is always well cooked and properly seasoned. There is a good wine list with a welcome selection “by the glass” The service is exceptional by the small, charming and efficient team The Table de Léo is is justifiably popular so do book to avoid disappointment. The pretty little village is worthy of more than a cursory exploration as is the impressive Abbey church

We came her for my birthday, and had a wonderful evening! The food is delicious, nicely presented, sensible portions, fresh and lovely flavours. The staff were welcoming and friendly, with good explanations of the dishes. We had to eat inside as the weather wasn’t good, but it is a nice atmosphere, well spaced tables and a nice buzz about the dining room. It is good value for money and deserved its number one rating I would heartily recommend and will be back.

It was wonderful to be back at this delightful restaurant situated in this pretty and historic hamlet. The restaurant has made the most of the exterior space where tables are attractively laid under beautifully designed fixed parasols To give ourselves a special lunch we ordered from the Menu Gourmand: we began with a most impressive entrée of beef tomato topped with crab and gambas. This was served with a smoked infusion that scented the air when the glass domes were removed with a flourish. Our main dish was a delicious lobster ravioli - what luxury! To accompany the first two courses we drank a crisp rosé from Provence - the perfect accompaniment on a very hot day. To finish we had the most amazing confection in honour of the strawberry - to describe this would only spoil the surprise of this stunning dessert. As always, the service was impeccable and charmingly professional.

An address to discover! A warm welcome, an incredible €20 menu, a chef who is very accommodating when it comes to dish modifications, top-notch service with a smile to boot. A very pleasant moment, on the terrace, in a charming village. Thanks to the whole team.

Like many good places in the Dordogne and after a long confinment due to this pandemic, it was nice to go back again to a restaurant with long missed friends. The decor hadn't changed much except that the tables were more distant from each other. Too cold to eat outside that day. But the service was as usual friendly, efficient and helpful in explaining the choices of the dishes and the wine. We tarried, enjoying the relaxed ambiance, the good food presented nicely and savouring the warmth of old friendships.

A Périgord village as we like them. Old stones, village house, historic setting. Easy access, free parking 1000m away. A terrace established in front of the establishment lined with city flowers. That's it for the frame. A one-on-one meal to celebrate a special date. The Terrace is full. We choose the same menu, and take different dishes, from aperitif to dessert, the dishes are followed without any particular wait or too quickly. We tasted everything with great interest, tastes coming from elaborate dishes, impeccable cooking. Seasonal products with homemade ingredients. Nice wine list. After meal price ratio, I would say a little above average compared to other semi-gastronomic restaurants in the region. So a first time which will not give a second time. Even if we have good memories of it. Make up your own mind by going there once.

The food is really very very good and it is well worth making an extra special journey for it. Service is efficient and professional too whilst not being too stuffy and over formal. All the staff are really lovely! We’ve eaten in a lot of Michelin ⭐️ restaurants in the wider area that are not as good as this restaurant! Perfect lunch and great choice of wine. We had the tasting menu and it didn’t disappoint at all. Book in advance! They get booked up at least a week in advance and more for larger tables.

Four of us ate here to celebrate a birthday. I’d was a beautiful evening so we sat outside. The tables were nicely spaced (COV19) so no one was on top of each other. There were 2 choices for starter, main and dessert. All were beautifully presented and delicious. The price was also very reasonable. The reason for my lack of 5 points was to do with the wine. Unfortunately due to where the restaurant is situated, there has to be a duty driver, which meant not everyone was drinking, the choice of wine was bottle only , no glass , no half a carafe - in the circumstances a bottle is too much - so we went without - which meant that the meal was lacking. . I would definitely recommend for the food !!!

We are sitting on the terrace in a small village very quiet. The setting is relaxing. The products are of high quality and the quantities are quite satisfactory. We ate very well and will return with pleasure. A bit of waiting but that’s the Award for eating fresh produce prepared to order.

What a pleasant discovery. A small square in the middle of a small village with the evocative name of St Avit Senieur and a large restaurant, LA TABLE DE LEO . Not great by the size certainly , but by the quality of the catering , the welcome . No doubt it is an excellent address. Today's menu this Thursday lunchtime at a very affordable Award with finally a homemade dessert: Lightning with pears and chantilly; divine!

The setting of this small restaurant in the summer is perfect and come regularly for the beauty, good food and friendly service. I would love to see the small menu change a little more often. Whilst what is on offer is excellent - delicious and beautifully presented - it is limited and when you come several times in a season it would be great to have a different choice each month. However I cannot fault the cooking or service and hope to remain a loyal customer for years to come!

Depending on the discovery of the region, restaurant really interesting: impeccable service, and with a smile, gourmet and gourmet dishes cooked with taste and passion. A delicious moment. I recommend goose breast and peach dessert.

Very nice restaurant. Nice ambiance. Very buy so initially service was a bit slow. Excellent Sunday lunch. Had the "Menu Degustation" with wines chosen by the proprietor. Good experience all round. Food was interesting, well presented and perfectly cooked if not a bit underseasoned for my taste. No dishes were particluarly memorable but would go back. Nothing much in the village apart from this resto so don't plane to go for a full day!!
