A must for a special treat while your on the island. Phillipa and Patrick are just so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. So nice to see them again. We had Beef Carpaccio to start. As always it’s amazing and then veal and fillet...steak. We also tried our first ever chilled bottle of red wine, the choice is chilled or how you would normal have it and we thought well we will give it a go- it was lovely and worked very refreshing especially in the heat ! No room for dessert but they are good as we had the desert trolley a couple of years ago- not all of it 😂- Def RecommendMore

The only restaurant we visited twice on the island during our recent holiday. Very much enjoyed dinner on both occasions. Really good quality food and perhaps the best service on the island.

Nice place, close to our hotel, Hodges Bay. The entrance and atmosphere were very nice. My only criticism was that is quite hot, obviously it was hot outside, but opening the windows does not cool down enough. However, the service was good, very attentive. The...food was very good, especially my starter of foie gras and scallops. My dessert was nice, and really quite big, however our friends had crepes suzette, and said it the best dessert ever. Would go again on a cooler day.More

We had a wonderful dinner here. The bread and homemade butters were divine! I had a seafood linguini that was amazing! However, no lobster since it isn’t in season. Fair warning, there is no air conditioning...so be prepared.

We were guests of friends who discovered the place years ago ( as the result of a prize the restaurant kindly donated to a fundraising event for a worthy cause ) and have been going back ever since but I am embarrassed to say this...was our first visit . The whole experience was delightful , excellent food throughout the meal . Always a good sign when each course for all four guests was perfectly cooked and seasoned . A nice touch to finish which I have nor seen for years was traditional sweet trolley - with a mouthwatering selection of gateaux , which I spotted on the way in , though three of our party had already ordered crepe suzette which seemed to go down well too. Our visit just preceded the beginning of ever increasing restrictions , so I am pleased we got our visit in just in time and look forward to the next one when restrictions start to unwind .More

It sounds like a tiny backstreet place in a Paris suburb. It isn't. The food and service were excellent. The ambience was good but a trifle formal. My only reservation was that $252 for dinner (mid-range wine) was slightly toppy. For a treat I wouldn't...stop you.More

What a wonderful restaurant and so close to our holiday home we visited a number of times over the fortnight we were on Antigua. Philippa and her charming team will welcome you warmly and Duke makes the best cocktails, a rum punch and virgin mojito...were made with such care we couldn’t resist just one! The food is just exquisite and Patrick the chef never disappoints - the food was consistently good and the menu although classically French has some concessions to the local produce (the local black pineapple and lobster dish is superb!). Please leave room for the puddings! These are created by Philippa and really are outstanding. Go to Le Bistro - you won’t be disappointed!More

This was the high point of our visit to Antigua. The setting and decor were lovely. The food was unusual with lots of great choices and was delicious. The service was excellent. We only wish this restaurant was near our home in NJ.

What a fantastic experience. My wife and i had a such memorable dinner, i’m writing this review 2 yrs after our visit. Everything was delicious (taragon!) and because we couldn’t get a cab pack to our hotel, the chef gave us a ride back himself!...Outclasses the rest of the island’s offerings, go.More

The food. Cooking Classic French dishes with local ingredients might be why this was such a disaster... Go to France instead!
