Went as a family of 5 of us around 7pm the night before we flew from stansted the next morning after a long drive from near Newcastle. The staff were attentive and whilst we hadn't booked a table this was not a problem. The food came quickly and was well presented, warm and the staff were brilliant. The food was... More

Great food, not the best interior but who cares if the food is the focus. Staff friendly and efficient, prices reasonable and always busy so has a good vibe.

Good food, very busy and brisk service. Lots of takeaways coming and going. Too many tables crowded in together made it very noisy, so not ideal for a romantic dinner.

After seeing the first class reviews on here I thought I'd give Bombay Butler a go as it's very local. I just want to say that this review is based on a take-away as opposed to eating in. What I will start off by saying is that the restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere- all the signs of... More

Bombay Butler will never disappoint you with its amazing food or friendly service. We are lucky to have the best Indian restaurant so close to home. Each dish has its unique individual taste and is always 100% tasty. We go there as a family, with groups of friends or just for a nice evening out with my hubby. I can... More

Bombay butler is the best Indian restaurant in stansted. Abdul is always so friendly and hospitable. The dhansak is amazing and prawn purée is so tasty. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We are not from around here as we are staying overnight at the airport for our early am holiday departure however if we were local people we would definitely come back again. Each dish tasted individually different (which is never a guarantee in a curry house)!!!

Description
An attractively modern Indian restaurant, Bombay Butler is a favourite in the busy airport town of Stansted. Who needs to take a long flight to India when the best of that countrys beloved cuisine is available right here? Bombay Butler prides itself on offering n authentic taste of India with a gourmet touch, dishes including favourite Indian curries, Tandoori specialties and less known regional dishes from throughout the hugely diverse culinary map of India. Much care goes in to the Bombay Butler menu, dishes all made by hand and the bread homemade on the premises for authenticity and freshness. The restaurant itself is contemporary and comfortable, the blue painted frontage with its large windows giving way to a generously spaced dining room, decorated in a neutral colour scheme, very modern but down to earth furnishings and interesting but unobtrusive modern art. Service at Bombay Butler is efficient and polite, not to mention discrete a must when attending to celebrity guests such as Jamie Oliver and the cast of Eastenders.
