Good the atmosphere and music, because of the peaple that go, good DJ Bad and mean the attendants Tricking with the drinks associated to the tickets to get in There is no other beach club to go around and they take it for advantage

Vibey, funky beach bar which did not fall short of providing a spectacular sunset view, great cocktails and fun entertainment. A difficult place to find on our own - signage could be better. The TZS10 000/$5 cover charge voucher was adequate for a tequila!

Busy beach bar. We only ordered drinks. Service was good but I cannot comment on the food. The acrobat show at sunset was entertaining. The night we visited there were lots of families there too. It was nice seeing the performers involve the children in...the show. It's a busy setting and a good atmosphere with music, dancing and lots of seating/ sunbeds. However, the sunbeds didn't appear all that clean - I'm not sure how people were just wallowing in them. I also noticed a visitor spitting on the floor and someone smoking weed whilst a mother of two gave them disapproving looks. Overall, enjoyed the experience. You'll always get one or two people who don't behave respectfully in a family friendly setting but generally its a nice atmosphere for young and old. I visited with my husband and we did get a bored after a while and ended up leaving shortly after the acrobat show. There's a few mosquitoes around so make sure you spray up with repellant before your visit.More

We order a food with my friends. So I come back and told them that i wanna this phone back and i wanna call police because this type of behave its really terible and they just told me…we sorry but this is Africa….what? Like you serious with this sentence? I got his iphone back after really shouting and also crying because i was exhausted of their stupid behave and Very bad service and acting like a bitech to me. I visited Kae Funk Beach Bar because I had watched videos about it before visiting Zanzibar. My hotel was across the water a bit, and I could hear the music and people having a good time from my area. I had to see what it...was all about there. Honestly, the crowd and the music the night I went were not my personal style. However people there were having a wonderful time! The beach and sunset do their own work, as nature does so beautifully. The staff there were like brothers to me and provided courteous and professional service. I would return to try the place again.More

You absolutely cannot beat the view. The staff wasn’t super friendly. Drinks were very strong. Bathrooms were pretty scary and not separate men and womens.

My wife and I went to have a lunch and enjoy the sunset at Laguna Beachbar. The ambience of the place is amazing, cheerful vibes and lovely scenery. However, they have a very aggressive waiter called Linus. One of the worst waiters we dealt with...in Zanzibar. He is not professional and he doesn’t know how to deal with tourists. It started when we were picking our food from the menue, he was very rude and didn’t help a lot when we asked about certain items in the menue. After that, We asked for a sun bed and they were all busy. We told him to please reserve the first available one for us and he was like no you go check yourself when its available. After some time, he suddenly came and said “You pay now”. We didn’t even ask for our bill or anything, as we were not planning to leave soon. We were wondering and we said we are not leaving, he said yes stay but i need to finish my bills before it gets crowded. We were annoyed by this behavior and decided to pay to avoid any arguments. We asked for credit card machine and he said no not available. This was kind of weird. We paid in USD and he gave us change in local currency, claiming that USD change is not available. I refused and told him no we are not leaving now and will wait for the USD change. After a couple of hours, I told him I need my change now as I’m leaving. Again he gave me in local currency!! I refused and told him I want USD! After that he went and finally got the change. Unfortunately we were unlucky that we were dealing with him. However, there was another friendly very helpful and cheerful waiter called Michael. He was amazing! He helped us finding sun bed and was keen for making us happy. Food wasn’t really nice, very tasteful french fries though. However the burger had a really bad after taste. The chicken curry was with bones, which was surprising for me. If you want good food, there is a grilling station on the left of the bar, it’s owned by the same owner however its not associated with the bar. So you have to go order and pay there. They have very tasty grilled chicken! They also have shisha, but I think shisha in Zanzibar is not common and they apparently make it by hour. It is nice but expensive though. The DJ was really good, playing chill house music during out stay. Overall experience, amazing sunset, vibes, and music. However very rude waiter (Linus) and moderate food.More

we went the wrong time in the afternoon. We had to be back in stone town for emerson by hurumzi experience. Not much was happening . I ordered a beer which was not at all chilled - had to drink with ice . Spent an...hour . Visited the place as we heard a lot about it . The road to the property is almost non-existant. As we were returning scores of cars could be seen going towards the placeMore

The food was so-so, depending on what we ordered, avocado mango sandwich was fantastic, but tuna steak was dry and plain. Banana blowjob cocktail was fantastic. Overall nice place to come and chill.
