We were staying in a tower below the town of gritting and dropped by for a late night dinner for four. Nice patio seating quick service and a diverse menu We were served quickly and everything was especially tasty. This was a great find in the middle of the hillside. Recommended find if you are looking for a place off... More

This restaurant is in a tiny town in Umbria, but the cuisine is "big time". There is ample seating inside, and the outdoor dining area is also large. We went on a Sunday and the place was very crowded (there's a good sign). The staff was very busy but efficient, and they seemed unfazed by the hectic situation. Very friendly.... More

Cozy italian family restaurant! Good service and all prepared with as many as possible fresh ingredients. Very friendly service ! The wines are made by the house and were fine. Very good food , highly recommended!

This is a large restaurant, very traditional and always pretty busy, especially on a Sunday. The menu is huge, most of the pasta is made on the premises, and the food is good. It's always busy, and locals really rate it. For my taste it's a bit soulless, no atmospher, too big. But Italians love being together, and you will often... More

The place looks like a lot of the local countryside restaurant - nothing special - but the most important thing here is delicious local Umbrian cuisine. I reccomend making a reservation, because getting a table at dinner time is not easy, although restaurant is quite large.

We enjoyed an excellent evening meal, arrived early without pre-booking but this was not a problem. A popular place with the locals which is always a good sign.

Four friends visited this small local restaurant having booked in advance. The menu is in Italian and no English is spoken so be aware. The English list of dishes bares no relation to the Italian menu. The starters were all wrong, two of the mains arrived and were finished long before the other two dishes were produced. The food was... More

We had a wonderful family dinner here during our stay in Umbria and would definitely recommend. We were a huge table of 9 adults and 4 children and they managed to get our orders perfectly correct, together and on time, even with the radical language difference. The pizzas, pastas, salads and wine were delicious. The rocket, pine nuts, pear &... More

Le Noci, in the small town of Grutti, was recommended for lunch by the owner of the agriturismo (Casale dei Frontini) where we were staying nearby. We were so happy he told us about it -- the pasta was superb and the meat course excellent, enjoyed on the shady, quiet terrace. A wonderful lunch!
