We visited this restaurant through TA reviews and rating, and were happy with the results. So.much so we went back on our last night of our holiday. The staff were polite and helpful, advising us on what to eat. The daughter calling out to here Mama on what she was cooking that night. The food portions were sizeable. We had... More

We ate here on our first night in Crete and went back twice more as it was so good. We were given a really friendly welcome and the service overall was great. So too the food! The calamari were delicious and succulent and Mama's moussaka one of the best I've tasted. The whole family is involved in the restaurant and... More

Very authentic. Restaurant had just opened for the season. The waitress and waiter were the (adult) children of Mum ho was cooking. She came out the kitchen at the end to eat at the next table and in true Greek style was proud to tell us about how she only cooks traditional home cooked food- we loved it! We had... More

This place was walking distance from our hotel so thought we would give it a try. Very friendly service and delicious Greek snacks and beer. Cheap and cheerful spot.

My wife and I ate here in late October. We ordered grilled vegetables which were very tasty and you could tell that they used very good quality ingredients. We also shared fried cheese and grilled octopus both of which were delicious. All of the dishes were very small, especially compared with other restaurants in Crete but this was not reflected... For all those who rent apartments or are doing self catering along this part of the Neo90 at Daratsos this is the ideal place to grab an early brunch before heading off the the beach (only 500 yds to Iguana beach) or off to Chania to do shopping. In addition it is a great evening restaurant with an incredible atmosphere... More

Great family own business. Food is cooked by mum and served by their daughter and son. Lovely home cooked, traditional food. Very good cocktails. We had Mojitos and Jegeritos which were well made and refreshing. Overall the food is simple (as is most of Greek food) however it is very well made and presented. One of my favourite places in... We visited almost every lunchtime and was warmly welcomed by Christina each time. The food was amazing and always felt like it was freshly home cooked. It almost felt as if we was visiting a family member! We cannot recommend this beautiful family run restaurant enough, well worth a visit and as with most Crete resteraunts the raki at the... More
