Went there for a lunch. We had lamb goulash and grilled lamb and I had lamb soup as first. The soup and goulash were so-so, the meat was well cooked in both but for both I had a feeling it was not made entirely of...lamb (maybe I'm wrong). Grilled lamb was fabulous! I'm sorry that a place like that (Something like family/homemade restaurant) doesn't have "real" salad and potatoes (tomatoes, in the middle of their growth season, were completely "artificial" and french fries were from bag). Wine was fine, price reasonable (1l of wine, sparkle water, 2 first and 4 main+2 salads) we payed 700hrk. The staff is very polite so my overall grade is 4 with possibility of improvement :) P.s. I regret we didn't remember to order "peka", I guess it's their top dish by the reviews. Next time for sure ;)More

Restaurant is located in a quiet idyllic village, perfect for anyone who wants to get away from the crowds and enjoy a peaceful lunch or dinner. Beautiful terrace, largely covered so you can sit outside even when the weather is bad. The lamb "peka" was...perfect, the meat was melting in your mouth. The staff are friendly and all compliments to the Head Chef. A young, likeable, charming, excellent cook. Praise!More

We went for dinner and ordered lamb 'peka' (baked dish with meat, potato and other vegetables made in a pot - you have to order it in advance because it takes a few hours to prepare). Portions are generous, everything was fresh and tasty, the...lamb was fabulous. One friend joined us later and ordered fish - it also looked fresh and tasty. White house wine was good. At the end they honored us with brandy. The place is nice and cozy, the staff is friendly, and (as far as I can see during the evening) very professional and multilingual. Highly recommended! :)More

Freshly made homemade lamb dishes are not to be missed if you are looking for traditional cuisine. Special cooking of chief Mimi is preserving the fantastic tastes of local meat dishes. The portions are huge. We took liver lamb and “pečena” lamb with chards and...baked veggies. The red vine and sorbetto followed as well as palacinke and traditional brandy. We loved “almost Jaggermeister”, travarica and sljivovica! Great dine in Stivan, wonderful service! Thumbs up 👍🏻 we are coming againMore

Nothing special about this place that offers frozen grilled fish like hundreds of similar restaurants in Croatia. The waiters are kind but, in my opinion, the quality is overestimated.

We stoped in Nonina komoba on the way to Martinscica for a late lunch. The lamb was fabulous and so was the fish. Reasonable prices and very friendly, responsive staff.

We sailed into Martinscica and based on a recommendation from a neighbouring boat at the town pier learned about this great restaurant in the nearby village of Stivan. With no car and the prospect of a very expensive taxi ride we were delighted to find...out that the owner would make the 5k drive to pick us up! What a delightful experience! Not only was the hospitality warm and cheery, the food was beyond compare. We had lamb two ways, goulash with dumplings and grilled, together with a plate of fresh grilled vegetables. The flavour of the local lamb, seasoned by the herbs it grazed on, was amazing and the portions very generous! We started with a simple plate of salted anchovies and another of local sheep’s cheese and finished with coffee and a spectacular dessert of sorbet mixed with vodka and Prosecco mixed to the consistency of a thick milkshake that was simply to-die-for followed by the obligatory shot glass of house made grappa! On our travels we are always on the lookout for off the beaten path, authentic, dining experiences and after a month in Croatia we both agreed that this was one of the highlights of the trip!More

We eat meat and the lamb on barbecue and also gnocchi with lamb meat were delicious. I am disappointed that they don’t have some local sweet to try. Pancakes are ok but to ordinary. The terrace is nice and spacious.
