Please don't expect a reply on Trip Adviser, if you have a genuine complaint get in touch with us and we will sort it out for you. Relaxed and informal. Some communal dining and some smaller tables. We are a butcher using classic methods from British and European sales to produce our own cured meats. We also take influences from American BBQ to produce well cooked smoked meats. We make everything possible ourselves. We make Pastrami for the Reubens, Franks for the dogs. We are very pleased with our award winning burgers. Be sure to ask what the secret is to a great burger (by the way there is no secret just use great dry aged Devon beef with salt and pepper).

Managed to get a smoked ribs and fries takeaway before the Corona lock-down and was not disappointed! Superb half rack with great sauce and plenty of fries. Brilliant value for money too. Can't wait to return when they re-open.

We visited here on our way down to Cornwall, the place is so quirky and very welcoming. Staff were excellent and knowledgeable about the food. I had a Sunday roast with a mixture of beef and pork, it was amazing! So tasty, I think it’s...More

Fantastic food and friendly staff. I have never eaten in such a busy, packed restaurant and once the food arrived you could see why. The portions were huge but unlike some places the quality was definitely not diminished!! The restaurant is clearly used to having...More

Great modern eatery. Fantastic, locally sourced food and wine. Staff are friendly and attentive. Expansive choice of ‘diner food’ (apologies if this is the wrong terminology). Good choice of drinks too.

Came here for a meal with friends I had the small meat platter which presentation wise wasn't very inviting the chips were underneath the meat which made them soggy and not nice. The ribs and sausage was not well cooked so I left them and...More

Lovely quirky restaurant tucked away on Topsham Quay. Great decor, large picnic style tables. If you are a smaller party (say two people) you will likely be sat with others. So may not be ideal for date night depending on your preferences. Great for groups....More
