Restaurant placed in a unique environment of Vila Vipolze is a nice place for a lunch or dinner. Gnocchi were overcooked and very average flavor, meat sauce too salty - it could be the kitchen was not really "in the mood on that particular day"......Good selection of wine. Slightly overprized. Staff professional, but very formal.More

Our visit was one of the best experiences in a long time. This renovated villa is another reason to visit this beautiful region. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very welcoming. The emphasis is on revisiting tradition, local, seasonal, from the first bite of bread...with horseradish spread to the dessert, all is greatly influenced by Italian cuisine. It is not cheap although worth it, but we were fortunate to try a special menu; therefore, we do not know if it reflects the usual offer of this restaurant, all we could complain about was the saltiness of one dish, underdone zucchini and our want for more sauce on the plates. The service is very attentive, kind, informative, and precise. Warmly recommended.More

Had an amazing lunch here. It’s in front of the stately Vila Vipolže with a nice, shaded terrace. The service was absolutely amazing; our waitress was extremely efficient and courteous and the food was incredible. I had the best Bolognese sauce here—highly recommended. Can’t wait...to return!More

I had a business lunch here. Its a nice place, top service. Their idea is basically bread and wine but they've aded also other things to the menu. You can enjoy a simple bruscetta or if you are a meet lover have something like me....I had lamp with vegetables. Its usually served with mashed patatoes. They have few local dishes as well. Also gluten free bread options if alergic. Have a glass of wine and enjoy. I am sure you want be dissapointed.More

Located in very nice renewed castle surrounded with vineyards. Cosy, combination of modern and tradition atmosphere. Food is local, traditional with some upgrades, that you can note Tomaz Kavcic signature (owner who is famous Slovenian chef in Zemono)

Great food, worth the price. The gnoccini appetizer was amazing and the location was beautiful. Also delicious bread. The portions are small so you will need to order at least two courses. But that is expected at this fancy restaurant.

Kruh in Vino has a lovely setting of a villa. The dining room was beautiful and tastefully decorated. The service was sometimes fast, sometimes slow, even though we were the only people in the dining room. However the dining room was separate and not in...view of the serving staff, which was probably why. The food was very nice (we had a glass of rebula, a cheese board, two pogača and ice cream), but a little small given it was expensive. The highlight was the amazing bread that came with the meal, especially the walnut and olive bread. Worth it for the overall experience rather than just the food.More

Properly renovated mansion that gives great ambiance for one of the best meals you can get in a region. Fresh and local ingredients served by authentically nice staff. And to top it all it’s not even expensive. If you choose to dine at this place...you won’t leave disappointed.More

The restaurant doesn' t live up to the hype (or to the Kavcic brand) and I am quite surprised over the excellent reviews on this site. The service was fine, the inside of the restaurant is cosy and atmoshperic, the terrace kind of cold and...not inviting. The food was average in terms of quality, taste and presentation. The dessert was way bellow average. There are quite a few much better, less pretentious and less showy resturants in Brda. Marica in Smartno is one of my favourites (an I am not connected in any way with the resturant).More

The restaurant itself has a beautiful settlement and really nice stuff. The food is very tasty but the collection is very limited. If you are not really a heavy carb eater, you have almost nothing to choose from the menu. For starters there are njoki...(potato dumplings) and that’s it. For main dish they are known with their pogaca (kind of bread), one salad and no vegetables as a side dish. Mostly ice creams for dessert. Anyway the food they offer is very very limited but tasty. one thing what I would emphasize is that they have GF bread. Would recommend for one time visit.More
