Forrest Gump said “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.” Today I was gifted with the Korean version of Forest Gumps box. A Dosirak (Doe-she-rock)I had no idea what I was going to get. But every bite was better than the previous bite! During these times when we were all home quarantining it was such a treat to have a different option for carry out. And this is far beyond your typical carry out! The marinated short ribs melted in your mouth! Rice and grains typically seems so plain but these were so flavorful! I absolutely loved the flavor and the texture of the Kimchijeon! Like a delicious savory pancake. The Gyeran-Mari (Basically an egg omelette) was delicious! I could imagine eating this for breakfast. And the Yire Noodle Salad has a light citrus wasabi vinaigrette that is perfect for this Spring time of year! If you’re looking for something different. If you’d like to give your kids a cultural experience. I definitely highly recommend calling the Goblin for a Dosirak Box!!

Delicious and worth it

So good! Super fresh sushi and the cutest place. I normally just get California rolls but my sister always gets their big tray of sushi and it’s so so good. Their spicy mayo is delicious too.

There’s no sign on the building, just can tell seeing the sushi chefs working behind the bar. It’s the building with the pink drapes or curtains on the windows. The interior looks lab clean from first impressions. We ordered the Alaska, caterpillar roll with crab instead of shrimp inside, chicken teriyaki roll, California with cream cheese and a crab salad roll. $48.23 is our total and about 20-25 minutes to be ready. They asked if we wanted to pay before picking it up. I don’t tend to pay until I have what I am paying for in hand, but they are probably offering the pay ahead due to the pandemic. Having a bit of wifi connection issues with the credit card reader for me. Had to restart their iPad o get the card reader to work. The guy working behind the counter was super friendly and explained to me what was going on and apologized for the card reader delays. The Alaska roll was my most favorite, the caterpillar and chicken teriyaki were also the preferred rolls out of all of the rolls we ordered tonight. The caterpillar was tasty, would recommend a seed or two from the jalapeño as it didn’t have any heat to it at all. The Philly roll was creamy as was the crab salad roll, but seem so plain and boring next to the fancier rolls. We ate the more expensive rolls last. The chicken teriyaki was sweet and creamy with the cream cheese in it. The rolls tasted super fresh and of course, since they were busy rolling out the orders when we arrived. I would recommend the top 3 picks from order again for another visit.
