One of our favorite spots. Always has great beer and food! Great service and always see folks you know.

We had a nice dinner tonight. Everybody had something different and it was all good. They grow the vegetables there at the restaurant. Good service and lots of different beer selections.

Loved the tour and the layout but felt like I was in DisneyLand when it came to the restaurant. Too much pencil sharpening and not enough of what makes microbrews enjoyable. The burger was small, I mean just short of slider tiny, the duck fat...More

A pretty location with an interesting driveway. The lights as you drive up to the brewery are Arts & Crafts style made to look like hops or other grains. If you take the tour, I’m sure there are other interesting things too; however, we just...More

I really wanted to like this place! I will say the grounds and building are impressive beyond words! Had nine in our party and spent a bit of time outside because some in our family have dogs. The outside bar, with a one drink limit,...More

Beer is great and they have samples of everything. I had Lamb Tartar which is an unusual but awesome dish. Great ambiance and you can sit outside in good weather. The brewery is built in a park so there is ample parking and plenty to...More

Not crazy about the food or the service here! If you go with another couple it's very awkward the way the food come out at different times. Your sitting sometimes 20 minutes with nothing to eat while your friends are already eating their food! I...More

Description
Western North Carolina is known for its love of food and passion for great craft beer. At our Mills River Taproom and Restaurant you’ll find an abundance of both. Visit the Taproom to sample one of our 23 beers on tap, many produced just a few feet from the restaurant. Beers are accompanied by artful, chef-driven food focused on small plate, sharable, whole animal and farm-to-table dishes sourced mainly from local suppliers. We are a first come, first serve restaurant. Please feel free to stop by the host stand to put your name on the list, or grab a beer and head outside to our Back Porch and Beer Garden to take in the views of the beautiful forest or stroll through our Mills River Estate Garden. We use the homegrown vegetables and herbs for our restaurant and small-scale pilot brewery.
