Huge selection. Awesome salad bar. And their burgers are the best you will ever eat. Had dinner there on 13NOV21 and then breakfast there on 14NOV21. Both were awesome. Had great service and everyone was super friendly. Everything thing on the menu is made in...house, daily. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely eat there again, next time I am in the area!More

I feel like I’m slumming when I eat here. Have had three really bad meals and management is rude and shifts the blame to the customer. Waitstaff is inattentive at best.

Greek Restaurant with American food too. The gyros, steaks, salads and desserts are all good. I have had breakfast too a few times the biscuits, eggs, gravy and waffles are all good. Great ice tea, coffee and desserts too if that is all you stop...for that's ok too.More

This is simply the over-all best eatery in the area and a favorite of locals (like me) and tourists alike. The restaurant features a wide selection of food ranging from Greek, Italian and Southern dishes. They also have some of the best fried chicken livers...around. In addition, they offer a very large salad bar with something for everyone. The seating capacity is enormous but be advised this place can get crowded at peak times and after church. This is a place that you will want to return to again and again.More

I got the pleasure of having late lunch on 9/15/2021 at around 5:00PM and was given a superb service by Brittany, who always check on us. Britt recommended some items from the menu and we were not disappointed. That beauty knew how to sell the...menu with a smile and knowledge. She was in company of other great servers like Ashely, who like Brittany kept me wishing I was younger. Great restaurant and even better food.More

We look forward to coming to Mills River Restaurant every summer. We drive from Brevard and always brag to friends and family about the great dining experience. Excellent salad bar and their seafood whether it’s on the grill or fried is the freshest between Brevard...and Asheville. We recently had a party of 8 from Florida and everyone was pleased with the variety of choices. Great service!! MoMore

Great salad bar with salad, pasta, veggies, home made salad bowl chips and desert. Excellent lasagna special. Huge menu and excellent service. Dining room is definitely not fancy but will come back again.

Eating local is easy when there are friendly, down home restaurants like Mills River. We were in for breakfast and were not disappointed. I had the waffles and bacon, and my husband had eggs, hash browns, and bacon. No shortage of coffee or attention. Did...not, however, have any gluten free options, which would appeal to my grandchildren. We plan to go back for dinner soon.More

We have always loved this restaurant as the food is plentiful and delicious however I was surprised by their response today. My husband and I decided to go out to eat for the first time since the pandemic. We drove from Brevard to Mills River...to get our favorite meal, popcorn shrimp and catfish. When we entered the restaurant it appeared that they were not crowded and the customers were spaced out according to state law. We were put into a room with eight tables and were seated appropriately distanced from the other two occupied tables. However, after the other two tables were emptied another couple was seated directly next to us, leaving the other six tables empty - not socially distanced. Although I felt uncomfortable we did not make a scene. When I was leaving I felt it important to let the owner/manager know that it did not seem to be appropriate and that we were uncomfortable. I asked why the staff would place a couple directly next to us when there were six other table in the same room. He informed me that they were open for 100 percent capacity and that if I felt uncomfortable that we could have requested a distanced table. I attempted to tell him that we were distanced when seated and I did not feel that it had been a problem. I felt as if he was telling me it was my responsibility to abide by the current state of North Carolina law - not his. North Carolina is currently at 75% indoor capacity in restaurants. However, it is a simple thing for a manager to inform its staff to space customers out appropriately until it is not possible. This is for the safety of the staff and the customers. He was very defensive. I will think twice about returning to the restaurant until attitudes change. My granddaughter works in the restaurant business in Durham, NC and her management really cares about the staff, customers and the current state laws. They have been doing carry out only since the pandemic (although it is an indoor restaurant) and have never shut down. Their business in booming.More

This reminded me of all the great diners up in Jersey. Good sized plates you won't leave hungry or broke. Prices reasonable. Worth a stop.

We did not have any contact with the owner. We saw him but he did not come near us. The waitress was very, very friendly. The menu is very confusing. Even the waitress had trouble explaining the selection combinations to us.
