I've come to Yukon every year for the past 17 and I always make time for Klondike Rib and Salmon. Great ambiance; oldest restaurant in town. The food is memorable, fresh and served in style. No need to dress up here. Service is friendly and...you can count on their suggestions. Make sure you save room for their amazing bumbleberry pie. OMG!!!More
This restaurant is such a great place. Food and service are both as good as it can be, it should be an example to all starting restaurants. The food is good quality, cooked amazingly and the quantity is BIG. The service is really professional and...pleasant, people are friendly and warming. They treat each costumer with great respect and regard. The place is stunning. The decoration is studied and realy fitting. This place truly reflects the whole image of the Yukon; warm and welcoming.More
We have travelled to many places. There is no better fish and chips anywhere. There fish chowder is good as well. I can’t comment on any other food there as I cannot resist there fish and chips. They offer an option of one or two...pieces of fish. One is plenty for me ! Great and friendly service. The owner is always on site.More
We ate dinner twice at this restaurant. The first time we waited about 15 minutes to get a table inside. Our dinner was so good and the service so fun that we decided to eat there again almost two weeks later. The second time we...were seated right away and once again had great food and service. We loved the Wild Smokey Balls with Sticky Sauce and the halibut and chips. Also, the chowder was excellent! I highly recommend dinner at Klondike Rib and Salmon!More
We hadn't booked a table and turned up on spec. It was very busy as it is a popular restaurant but thankfully we only had about a ten minute wait until a table became available.
The menu is very interesting and caters for practically every...taste including some interesting vegetarian options. There is also a good selection of beer and wine available.
The main course portions are generous so cannot comment on the dessert choices!
Staff were very friendly despite being so rushed off their feet and the food was served without much delay but was well worth the wait, delicious.
If you really want to go there then consider a table booking as it is not a large establishment and is one of the best places to eat in town.More
We went on a day that had a little inclement weather and since there is NO place to wait, we had to wait in the rain for over 45 minutes. While it was my choice to wait i did so because of the recommendation from...friends. Once we were sitting down, i found it just average, food was good, seating was very tight and ambiance was just okMore
We have been eating at this restaurant for the past 14 years. We only go once a year and look forward to eating their Heavenly Halibut Chowder. We were there last month and found that the chowder was no longer heavenly. There were only two...small pieces of halibut in the whole bowl! It needs to be renamed vegetable stew as it is basically just potatoes, carrots and peas in a very thick broth. Their fish and chips is now what we order.More
