Four of us (two couples) went for an anniversary dinner. The restaurant was busy, but not full. We waited quite a while to put in our drink order, then waited again to put in our food order, and then again until the food came. The food (when it finally came) was very good, but the quantities were small considering the... More

Came for our anniversary. It has a limited menu but there is something for everyone! They have a smoker (had the special: smoked pork loin) and roof top garden where they supply their own veggies. The servings are smaller but filling. The service was friendly and timely. Great atmosphere. Modern yet comfortable and trendy. Loved the decor. I would go... More

Went to Saint Tropez for our anniversary on a Saturday at 6. It is a small intimate venue with simple but beautiful decor that makes it a pleasure to dine in. The service was polite and quick. Our food came quite quickly after we ordered. The food was very enjoyable- the pork loin was cooked perfectly (tender, moist and well... More

My husband and I often find ourselves at Saint Tropez Bistro for a lovely meal prior to our Friday night movie ritual. I have been meaning to share my experience with this gem of a restaurant in Saskatoon's downtown, but frankly was afraid that such a review would over-crowd our favorite go-to place...but it is too good not to share.... I've been dining at this lovely place for many years and was glad to see it was still around. Lovely atmosphere. Delicious food. Great service. Walking distance from downtown hotels and bonus is it was open on Sunday evening when other places were closed.

We enjoyed our first time at this restaurant immensely. It is refreshing to see a family run business so invested in providing excellent service. Our waiter / owner couldn't have been more knowledgeable or delightful. We will definitely return to this restaurant.

Very impressed with the Saint Tropez Bistro - a great dining experience. The restaurant was quiet, cozy and relaxing. The four of us were equally impressed with our entrees', in one word delicious along with the beautiful presentation. The service was 10 out of 10.

We made a New year's eve reservation and what a beautiful end to 2015. Any year that starts with that chocolate mousse is going to be fantastic. The service was impeccable, it was quiet with beautiful ambience. The wine and 4 courses were delicious. We will be back. Happy New Year!

The music is soothing, there is no clanging of cookware or chairs sliding across ceramic floors. There is no litany of personalities involved in entering and seating in the establishment. This is all low key, elegant comfort dining. A place where you can have a conversation without competing with the entire dining room. This is a place for adults. The... More

Description
The Bistro is a small locally owned and operated restaurant, in a historic 1906 building in the heart of downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Using locally sourced ingredients when available, dishes are inspired by our love of travel. In the summer months, watch for our Bistro rooftop garden vegetables and herbs. Our little garden started out as a few pots of herbs and tomatoes. Now, it has grown to include edible flowers, heirloom tomatoes, beans, peppers, lettuces, and so much more.
