We went there as a family of 6. Each of us had a different entree and all of the meals were well prepared and had really good taste. The venue itself is quaint and would be a great place for an intimate dining experience. However, even with a family of 6 we had a great time. The owner was our... More

Lovely little spot with delicious food and very warm atmosphere. The fresh vegetables from the roof top garden were cooked perfectly and very enjoyable. Loved the artwork on the walls.

I have been to this restaurant with friends a couple of times, and both times have been great experiences. The service was warm and efficient, the selection diverse, and the food very good. It's quite compact inside, but has never felt uncomfortably so.

Visited this quaint restaurant on a Thursday evening. Was quiet with only a handful of customers. Great atmosphere! Assume the server was actually the owner as his knowledge of the food was exceptional. They grow some of their own herbs and vegetables, which the server was very proud of. Friend had the chicken special which she said was great. The... More

Had a group dinner out with friends. We all agreed this is one of our favorite places to eat. The server was very helpful in suggesting the wine choice. Everyone had an appetizer and the spicy shrimp were the favorite., large shrimp with a delicious dipping sauce on the plate. The spinach balls were tasty and the chicken liver was... More

A comfortable, small, personal restraunt that creates a memorable experience. Truly family owned and operated. Good wine with well crafted dishes. You can tell these people like giving thier clients quality. I have been a number of times and can't wait to visit again.

Four of us (two couples) went for an anniversary dinner. The restaurant was busy, but not full. We waited quite a while to put in our drink order, then waited again to put in our food order, and then again until the food came. The food (when it finally came) was very good, but the quantities were small considering the... More

Came for our anniversary. It has a limited menu but there is something for everyone! They have a smoker (had the special: smoked pork loin) and roof top garden where they supply their own veggies. The servings are smaller but filling. The service was friendly and timely. Great atmosphere. Modern yet comfortable and trendy. Loved the decor. I would go... More

Went to Saint Tropez for our anniversary on a Saturday at 6. It is a small intimate venue with simple but beautiful decor that makes it a pleasure to dine in. The service was polite and quick. Our food came quite quickly after we ordered. The food was very enjoyable- the pork loin was cooked perfectly (tender, moist and well... More

The Bistro is a small locally owned and operated restaurant, in a historic 1906 building in the heart of downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Using locally sourced ingredients when available, dishes are inspired by our love of travel. In the summer months, watch for our Bistro rooftop garden vegetables and herbs. Our little garden started out as a few pots of herbs and tomatoes. Now, it has grown to include edible flowers, heirloom tomatoes, beans, peppers, lettuces, and so much more.
