The Willow is situated on Wascana lake & the scenery is beautiful. We were a large group & it took forever to get our food. I understand that the kitchen is small & a wait is to be expected. That being said, they should not have such a large patio. The appetizers took forever to get....over an hour, and the main... More

So disappointed. The server appeared disinterested and the food was okay. We had noticed a lot of hype for the new brunch menu so were excited to try it out. The food was underwhelming especially for the price.

We've eaten at the Willow several times in the past but have recently found it to be underwhelming. The service has been slow at best, meals take a tremendous amount of time to arrive and the food is just okay. For the price the Willow needs to step up its culinary talent or move to something more simple. We've left... More

We have dined here before and found the food interesting with the menu changing frequently. It is an expensive restaurant and as such one goes there with preset expectations. The sarters were well done and delicious. The bison steak was expected to be dry but these steaks were extremely tough and we could hardly cut through the meat. It was... More

We have gone here now for the second time and we have loved every bite of everything we have had. Both times my fiance went for the special and I had sever food envy, luckily he's willing to share. The food is all farm to table, locally sourced and you can tell that the ingredients are all very fresh. The... More

We dined at The Willow many years ago and found it to be pretentious and overpriced. When we saw the Taco Thursday advertisements we thought this would be more our style. We could not have asked for a more picture picture day to sit on the patio. Unfortunately, our restaurant experience did not match the view. It took over 20... More

Food was good; service was good; but waiting 90 minutes for the lunch special (spaghetti) was just inconceivable to me. The setting ion the deck was excellent, and it was a great day, but it shouldn't take two hours for lunch.

In a city full of chain restaurants, it was nice to experience something unique. This restaurant is on Wascana lake overlooking the Parliament building. Their menu is creative and interesting. I also changes seasonally I am told. My friends and I all order different dishes, which allowed us to sample a variety of options from the menu. Everything was delicious!

Another great visit. We don't go often but are never disappointed. Servings are smaller, however, the abundance of flavor more than compensates. My recommendation is always start your meal with a bowl of "Land Chowder" soup. Chef's creation based on clam chowder but even better. I had the Steelhead Trout cooked to perfection, served with rice and sauteed kale...delicious! My... More

Description
The Willow on Wascana has been a part of Regina life since 2004. We pride ourselves on the amazing and quite surprising bounty this great province has to offer. From every grain under the sun to the most flavorful vegetables you have ever tasted. We even have fresh fruit growing in the valley. The willow has worked very hard with countless families and individuals skilled in the art form known as farming.

From our major meat supplier, Pine View Farms in Osler supplying us with an array of all farm animals. Our wild boar family Schneider Farm just 15 minutes outside of Regina. Local eggs, local flour and now even a local cheese artist. Our amazing produce from Heliotrope Farm in Craven, you name it chances are they grow it.

All these great things we enjoy so much and transform into our own culinary masterpieces, and just picked fresh right out of the backyard. From Farm to Table, let's face it, that's the way it should be.

Cheers, Chef Tim Davies
