I am not usually a meat lover but this steak was very good, cooked to my liking. They offer small size portions for the steak and that suited me perfectly. The fries are supposed to be refilled but the waitress was busy and-or forgetful because she did not go around to any table to offer seconds. She asked us if... More

Waitress spoke to us in English and was very accommodating Food was very reasonable but not outstanding . For example, The snails were served with so much cheese that they could have been anything !

I went there a thursday night 5pm, it was empty. So the service was great...I was the only customer. All other location were empty as well, people started to populate the place around 6pm. Service was very nice and quick. I took the "table d'hote" for 38$, the smoke salmon entree was very basic as the salad. I took the... More

We ordered two table d'hôtes (garlic snails/smoked salmon, salad, filet mignon/fries/steamed green beans, Coffee/Desert-Napoleon). 43$ each table d'hôte. Snails were good, portion of smoked salmon was very small. The salad was OK, not great, unimaginative. The filet mignon was good and the cooking was fairly well executed, the green beans are tiny and pretty good although when they say it... More

My parents, my fiancé and I stopped over in Trois Rivieres for one night during our visit of Eastern Canada last September. I am French and my fiancé is British, we had never come accross a restaurant where you can bring your own wine before so were erally exited! So we got a bottle and went to Steak Frites for... More

And is also forbidden to order two appetizers if you don t want want or like the entrees. Salad is a joke, 4 leaves of boston with kraft style dressing, the shrimp salad entree is worst 3 shrimps... Chalkboard tapas offered a longer list than the short menu for appetizers; a diner in our group told me she'd been disappointed by the calamari in the past but I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. As for the steak...I figured a steakhouse would have a variety of choices, but they have two: macreuse (clod, a shoulder cut!) and... More

Had supper there this past Thursday. Decor is really nice, food was excellent, however our waiter was inattentive. We were not in a rush however having to ask for bread after the salad was served is a little off. Waiter seemed annoyed that we pointed out we needed bread, service overall was slow, however the food made up for it.... More
