We enjoyed a very nice meal here. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere. It was a treat night and was well worth the cost.

Twice had our breakfast there. Food is not fresh. Strawberries, prunes, blueberries, pears and peaches, all came from cans. Not much choice in Tadoussac for breakfast.

After the front desk staff of this charming and amazingly well located seasonal and iconic hotel sold us on the idea of the evening buffet, at $40+ per head, we were somewhat disappointed. The food, although plentiful, was very average. And at $40 per person, overpriced. Staff was pleasant and attentive, but the rest was nothing to write home about.... More

This restaurant is OK but not great, and doesn't live up to the standard of the hotel (which I stayed in and really liked). The staff are mostly very pleasant and speak both French and English. There was one member of staff though who I found surly and downright rude - and its rare for me to say that about... More

In the Hotel Tadoussac, the food and service were good. A good selection of wines and a buffet to suit everyone. The à la carte menu was good.

The breakfast was yucky, nothing tasted fresh, yet they charge $20 a person. And sneaky, the price is not posted anywhere but you go because it is the only breakfast in your hotel and then at the end you get the shock. Dinner is all fancy dishes but not particularly well executed. Not a hamburger in sight. Worst pasta I... More

I did not stay at Hotel Tadoussac but ate dinner one evening whilst in town. Even though I didn't have a reservation a table was located by the maitre'd and her staff. The dining room staff were very efficient also during the meal. The buffet was ok but certainly not exceptional. I was happy I had walked through the lobby... More

Staying at the hotel for just one night we took dinner here and then breakfast the following morning. Breakfast buffet was fine - no complaints - the standard fare and it seemed fresh and was plentiful. Dinner was actually very enjoyable but seemed quite pricey overall. The lack of people in the restaurant gave the place a slightly dead feel... More

The buffet breakfast is an additional charge, and is not great value. Coffee was good, and hot but we had to ask twice for it and again for a refill. Minor complaint but this hotel wants you to believe it is better than this.

We enjoyed breakfast here last week before going whale watching. It was great! Variety was good with bacon, sausage, ham, fried potatoes, baked beans (traditional in Canada), bread pudding, pancakes, fruits, cheeses, pates, breads, and omelet station. The omelet station is able to do over easy eggs, too. Service was good, not terribly friendly, but no complaints. Every dish was... More
