Was a bit hesitant because of some previous reviews but the breakfast was great and they even have gluten free toast and pasta available!

Our mother really wanted to eat at this place as she loved the look of the exterior and wanted a seat in the window as it really had a lot of charm with the view of Rue St-Louis and the plants hanging in the window. The place was decorated lovely: very cute, quaint, warm, and with a lot of charm.... More

We went there for supper, on a hunch, because everything else in Quebec is so expensive! They have a large menu of good hearthy food. We went no-frill with a poutine and a submarine. Both were good. Good wine. Good service. Nice ambiance in an old house on StLouis st. We thouroughly enjoyed it for what it was. I remember... More

Our horse and carriage tour guide recommended this place on our way past. Bad idea. It was nothing special. Average food. Smallish portions. Pricey eggs Benedict. Home fries were obviously from a frozen food bag. Worst part was the unexplained slow wait staff/service. Waited several minutes just to get average coffee. And then more than 20 minutes for our breakfast... More

Service staff was friendly - it was not quick though. Pricing seemed best on breakfast foods - which they serve till 3pm. The crepes with Strawberries - which are in season were REALLY good!

My wife and I were spending the day exploring Quebec City and looking for lunch near the main square in town. We reviewed the menus of several restaurants as we walked down the street and chose this one only by chance. It's the typical style of place in this city, Small but interesting atmosphere. It was a warm moist day... More

I had a toasted ham & cheese sandwich with fries (it was okay, nothing to write home about) Hubby had fish and chips (said it was not good, like one large fish stick and wouldn't order again), Son had ham and cheese crepe. He said it was good but wouldn't order again. Cute euro cafe, atmosphere was good. Desserts in... More

Even though this is a great breakfast place, the menu is extensive and quite good. I had a ham and chesse omelet and my wife tried the traditional pea soup. Both were delicious. Vegans and kids in our group found delicious entrees as well. The service was quite good and friendly. Less expensive than other restaurants.

Stopped in for a late dinner near our hotel, choosing the special package with appetizer, main, dessert, and coffee. Service was good and the food decent, though certainly nothing unique. My chicken/mushroom crepe had clearly been microwaved after its large amount of topping cheese was added. But the chicken was moist and mild. Dessert cheese cake saved by its tart... More
