Nice bistro located in a lovely part of Old Quebec. We had dinner outside on the terrace. Great service and if the weather allows it, people should eat outside. With all the tourists walking around and the architecture, you really feel like you are in Europe, great atmosphere. The menu offers a lot of great options. I recommend this restaurant... More

We enjoyed a late lunch here, and almost always saw the tables mostly full, lets you know a good place, as the one next door was almost always empty.

After an unfortunate dinner experience at a nearby restaurant, we walked by this place on our evening stroll and found it so charming, I vowed to find it the next day. It took us a while of roaming the old city, but we found it and had an excellent lunch. My husband had the steak and frites with a glass... More

Loved sitting outside at this restaurant and everything we ordered was great. Don't miss this place! A bit pricier than some in the area but so worth it!

We happened upon this gem as we were first exploring the area around our hotel on our first evening in Quebec. We didn't have a reservation but were seated at an outside table with no wait - perfect, as we love to dine al fresco. If you'd like to sit inside, a reservation may be in order. We started with... We stopped here after a visit to the Musee de la Civilisation. We ate off the brunch menu and had a great bowl of latte. I'm sorry we never got back to it for dinner as their food was wonderful and the service impeccable.

Depending on your luck you might need to wait in line for 20-30 minutes to get in (especially during dinner time on weekends). Is it worth the wait? Maybe. The food was good, but the service was understandably slow since the place is jam-packed. Also the portions were not as big as in other restaurants in the area. So if... More

We happened upon this restaurant by chance but the menu looked different from the thousand tourist fare menu's we had looked at previously so gave it a chance. My wife had deer carpaccio to start followed by black pudding and foie gras main, ending with a rich coffee ganache dessert. I had veal sweetbread (amazing), followed by a daily special... More

We were introduced to a new favorite on our last trip – Echaude on Rue Sault-au-Matelot – a short walk from Auberge St. Antoine. It was a casual bistro, not classic French but with a French accent. An appetizer of potato gnocchi with bits of local lobster and freshly harvested spring morel mushrooms will give you an idea of how... More
