Mid-afternoon we like to take a "beer" break to continue the hard work of tourism. We usually only order a beer but this time opted for food as well and so glad we did. The spot on the terrace is wonderful. Great for people watching. We ordered 2 appetizers, the pate and the most wonderful warm brie with maple syrup.... More

The food was nothing but average. The portion was minimum, and the taste was ok. The prices were quite expensive if you compare to other restaurants available around. The service was polite and friendly.

We found this place in 2015 when we were looking for a spot for my birthday dinner, and it was so good we decided to come back this year. Loved the wild mushroom ravioli, and of course the maple syrup pudding is simply amazing. No other restaurant has this dessert, believe me, we've looked for it! We will definitely go... More

This little bistro is just off the main street, Rue du Petit Champlain, but is still in the heart of Old Quebec. The restaurant is very busy; it is recommended to get a reservation but you can arrive without one too, you just might have to wait. In the summer they do have about 8 tables outside on a raised... Lovely cafe in Quebec's lower town. Friendly servers who engaged in pleasant conversation even though they were busy. We especially enjoyed the French onion soup and wild boar/mushroom eggrolls as starters. Memorable experience.

Delicious dinners- venison & salmon. Nice portions, great service- table inside by open window onto veranda. Small amount of tables. This place recommended by a hotel clerk in Montreal who knew our travel plans to Quebec. No disappointment. Walked down the stairs instead of taking the funicular, right at the base.

Came here with my friend after searching for a different restaurant in the pouring rain, but stumbled upon this gem instead. The place was cozy and romantic. My friend and I started with the duck and pistachio pâto for appetizer, which came with 2 crustinis, mango chutney, some mustard concoction, and their signature onion jam. The appetizer was tasty but... More

A very nice lunch in Old Quebec City. The quiche was simply amazing! A vegetarian option or just because it is fabulous. Lots of cheese and a large portion. Pricey but hey-you are in the heart of Old Quebec City. Bistro sous le Fort was a lovely spot to take a break from walking the beautiful scenery and recharge. My... More

We had dinner sitting on the terrace--great view, wonderful friendly service and good food. Prices were very reasonable for Old Québec. The French Onion soup is wonderful. You can see the Chateau Frontenac from the terrace which is lit up in the evening.

Enjoyed a calm, well-paced Sunday night dinner on a tourist-filled street. Our waitress was bubbly but not saccharin and knew the menu cold. Chicken salad was inventive and very tasty, as was the quiche. Drinks/wine were spot-on. We'd go back for sure.
