This restaurant and its cuisine is one of the outstanding features of this very good auberge. The a la carte breakfasts are terrific with sweet and savoury options, all of which are substantial and impeccably presented. The range of tastes are outstanding. Breakfasts can be taken in various locations, but our favourite was the restaurant itself rather than the buffet in a... More

After looking at various restaurants for a special dinner on our anniversary, we selected Panache. It is in a beautifully restored older building in the lower town of Old Quebec. (When you go, ask about its history). From being greeted at the entrance through to our leaving, the service was attentive and impeccable, while giving us enough privacy to celebrate... More

We were their guests for two breakfasts. Both visits were fabulous. My favorite selection (and we sampled three) was the Continental Breakfast, reasonably priced with straightforward offerings, of cereals, croissants, pastries, breads, muffins, scones (unquestionably the best scones on Earth, and they will warm them for you), cheeses, fresh berries, prosciutto, country liver terrine, condiments……and more. I was in Heaven……and... More

We stopped for lunch at Panache, and are glad we did. The decor is very tasteful, and, at lunch, the prices were quite reasonable. The service is leisurely, so that the 3 course meal took 2 hours to consume. The highlight was the strawberry and coconut tart that was the dessert of the day. The restaurant does not seem to... My husband and I were staying at Auberge St Antoine and the day of our arrival had reservations to dine at Panache. The trip was long and we thought this would be the easiest. This is a French restaurant that I would be thrilled to eat at over and over again. The chef presented works of art, outdone only by... More

First things first, if we were rating this restaurant solely on the quality of the food, it would 6/5. Everything we had - appertizers of turnips and lobster, the Halibut main with sides of mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, and the chocolate soufflé dessert - was truly delicious. The European portion sizes were just right for us so, despite the... More

This place was highly recommended by our hotel and the food is top notch. The old mill building makes for a great atmosphere and the service was impeccable. Truly fine dining experience. The provided all the extras, amuse, cookies at end, etc. We found the food fussy however. Elegantly presented but in small portions. We started with the lobster appetizer... More

Description
Nestled amid the stone walls of a riverside warehouse dating back to the 19th century, Panache's dining room offers exceptional intimacy and stunning views of the bustling river. On the menu: Chef Louis Pacquelin's cuisine. A cuisine that is revisiting classic dishes with a pioneering approach and a genuine love for local produce, both simple and sophisticated, which vary with the seasons and arrivals. Our produce is sourced primarily from our organic garden on Île d'Orléans and small local producers.
