We enjoyed our dinner sitting in the window seat watching the passersby while we dined. The food was all quite good, although the only dish I clearly recall is the very nice lemon pie. The service was somewhat disorganized, and we were served out starters twice.

Best dinner so far in Quebec City! We explained to our concierge that we are not finding much to our liking and she suggested Mistral Gagnant nearby to our hotel St Germaine. Excellent. And as another reviewer mentioned we sat literally on the window sill and loved it. A true French ambiance, the owner very solicitous, and food prepared simply... More

The décor is very quaint and reminiscent of the south of France. We received personal service from the proprietor who made sure we enjoyed our evening. The food was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Hubby found this place in one of the travel books. The food is good and decently priced for what you get but it didn't really wow me. It was just about 2-3 blocks from our Hotel 71 so that was convenient. The owner who tripled as a waiter and bus boy has been on TV with accolades from Trip Advisor... More

This little French restaurant is run by the owner from Toulouse who has brought a typically authentic style and menu to this venue. Just off the tourist trail, we found this gem full of locals. The food is outstanding, the service is careful, attentive and personal, and the owner is the most welcoming host to his restaurant. Ask to sit... More

Our last night in Old Quebec City my husband & I dined at this wonderful and reasonably priced French Provencal restaurant. The Bouillabaisse was the best I've ever had & my husband's lamb chops were delicious! We loved the first course offerings of smoked salmon and escargot with puff pastry, the salad and the soup as well as the yummy... More

This is a charming French contryside looking restaurant. The food was a 3 course meal for a very reasonable price and excellnt food. The owner made sure we were comfortable, and that we had everything we wanted including several wine tastings.

We try to visit Quebec the week before winter carnival to enjoy the beauty before the craziness begins. There are risks to this as many local restaurants are closed to rest up before the stress of the big show, so finding your favorite restaurants open can be hit or miss. Walking around the Basse Ville looking in windows, it's often... More
