We went on a Saturday night, the outdoor terraces were full, so we went in this great food restaurant. Service was attentive to us and especially our young baby.

We stopped mid-afternoon at this establishment as I had read good reviews online (probably more for night life and music). We ordered drinks, cheese and meat tray and soup. Food was standard bar fare, but wait person was terrible. She brought the bill with our drinks and said she needed to leave soon. She came back for the bill to... More

The food only ok. The cheese board is great. The "big salad" is decent, but the dressing is heavy. The kids had mixed reviews of the hotdogs - one loved it, the other did not. However, the service was very good and accommodating to tourists

Pape-georges is in the lower area of quebec city. It is a bit off the main, crowded streets. It is closer to the water and convenient if you are planning a bike ride along St. Lawrence river or a boat cruise. Of note, on a summer day, their air conditioning is great and the wi fi is strong. Great for... More

Excellent little place on an out of the way road where you can stop and have a drink. We had a cheese plate and it was great. The staff was patient with us and our kids. Would recommend it for families needing a break or anyone for that matter

We stopped here mid day for a few drinks and decided to grab some lunch. The inside is typical for old Quebec with stone walls and lots of character. Service was excellent. We had the sausage soup and charcuterie tray both of which were excellent. This is just a cool place to hang out and take a break from wandering... More

If you want to sip delicious craft beer in a magical Quebec setting then get over to le Pape-Georges right away. Situated on one of the most beautiful streets in old town this pub is an absolute hidden gem.

We were looking for a bowl of soup and are delighted to discover this quaint historic pub in Vieux Quebec! I sampled the Bordeaux and my husband had a wonderful Quebec Stout. The tomato basil soup, chili and ham baguette were delicious. Warm, friendly, bilingual staff. Fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

What a perfect little place. They give you 6-7 different cheeses to try that you can only get in Quebec because that's where they're made. We had their version of ice wine (made the same way only with apples instead of grapes; delicious; it's called ice cider I think). We stopped there after the tour which ended right around the...
