This was our 3rd visit to La Lapin in 2 visits - yes, we went twice in a visit! It is that good! As word is getting out that they are this good, remember to make a reservation! Everything on the menu is delicious!

We went to Le Lapin Sauté on our last night in Quebec City. I was resistant because of the name of the restaurant, and I perceived it to be touristy. Even if the latter is true, the food and service were excellent. I had the rabbit with sauce and my friend had the rabbit pie. Any queamishness we had over... More

If rabbit is not your thing, stay away. But, if you're willing to try or you're a seasoned rabbit fan, you must go. Lasagna, cassoulet, stew, however, le lapin is the star and perfectly prepared. Be sure to book ahead; this is not very large.

- Service was incredible (friendly, spoke english and french) - accommodates dietary restrictions - i.e. gluten-free options - food was incredible. We liked it so much that we ate there twice in a single day - brunch and dinner - the ambiance felt like we were in Europe again Recommendation if you go there for dinner, make a reservation because... This is a small restaurant in the old city. Nice place to have a cafe or lunch. French onion soup was very good. Staff were very friendly.

Although their specialty is rabbit they do have other delicious choices to choose from. In the summer they have a nice patio that is covered with vines. Very romantic. Inside feels like an old rustic cabin. Great location in lower old Quebec.

We went there on a Saturday afternoon after having done a private tour of Upper and Lower Quebec for a couple of hours. It was warm and inviting on an otherwise cold and windy day. I finally tried Poutine and this came with bits of ground Rabbit sprinkled over the top, it was excellent. I also had the French Onion... More

I love this restaurant, I love the ambiance, the food is delicious, we are going every Year the week before Christmas, it is a small restaurant with a fireplace. The personnel who serve there are very nice!
