I was lucky I got here when I did. Everyone who came in after me was told there was a wait, as the restaurant is tiny and popular and in a busy location. I started with the foie gras and then had the rabbit cassoulet. Both were excellent. The wine that was suggested was also great and went well with... More

At least sitting in the side garden we were a little out of the crowds! Service was young and friendly, and as we like eating Rabbit lunch was OK but no big deal as this is mainly an American tourist stop. Try Canadian wine.

We enjoyed the meal and service on this central restaurant. Good choices including rabbit. Simple setting but comfortable

This is a very popular place in the Lower Town of Old Quebec. Had a short wait for a table at lunch time. When the weather is nice, outdoor seating is available and recommended. Otherwise there is limited space indoors. We had lunch specials of the day. My rabbit leg dish was delicious. Nice wine choices as well as pints... More

The menu mainly consists of rabbit and duck; offered as a pate, terrine or an entree. So it's not quite for everyone, but if you have a change to stop by do so.

The place is really beautiful for lunch and much more for dinner. We preferred to sit outside in the garden. Service is nice and the food was ok.

Eggs Benedict with rabbit. So good. Very friendly staff, restaurant located in heart of petit Champlain. Felt like I was in a country side restaurant in France.

We loved it here. A small, quaint restaurant with great food and decent prices in the old city. What more can you ask? Oh yeah, gluten free options! So glad we were able to eat here on our anniversary trip.

We got the huge special, it was good aside from the lamb being very overdone. But if you want some very non-threatening French cuisine in Old Quebec it's much less of a tourist trap than some of the others. Get lots of Rabbit, Duck and cheese.

My husband surprised me with dinner at Le Lapin Sauté after a food tour guide recommended it to him for a special meal and it was wonderful! You really have to make a reservation though as the dining room is very small- he was lucky to be able to make a reservation for the same day when he went into... More
