Fun restaurant with good food....including rabbit, of course! Be sure to make a reservation because it's really popular. There are even vegetarian options. It's located in the old city which is quaint and like being in Europe without flying over the Atlantic!

From the lovely service and quaint atmosphere to delicious food- what more could you want? Had the tasting platter for two and we loved every bite! Full of flavour! Highly recommend - and we are particular.

This was our second time to dine at Le Lapin Saute and we still call this one of our favorite restaurants in Quebec. Le Lapin is French for rabbit so you already know to expect rabbit on the menu. There are many wonderful things to...More

Lovely small restaurant on one of the prettiest streets in Old Quebec. We liked the food, enjoyed choices from nice wine list; beers also available. We shared one of the cassoulettes.

Service was excellent, food outstanding. We had one of the best french onion soups and rabbit poutine dish. The atmosphere is wonderful - would advise making reservations. Made our trip to Quebec very enjoyable.

A lovely restaurant with lovely wait staff and good service. The onion soup was delicious and the salad was good too. I recommend this restaurant for a good lunch. It was reasonably priced too.

Description
The magic of the Petit-Champlain district adds to the charm of the Lapin Sauté. By day, this pedestrian street comes alive with the sounds of chatter. By night, the lighting makes shadows dance on the walls of the street's historic houses. Dining at the Lapin Sauté is akin to walking into a warm, quaint and cozy inns from the early 20th century. There is nothing better than sitting in the comfort of this small, friendly 32-seat restaurant where you're always welcomed with open arms. During the summer, the Lapin expands to 52 seats with its outdoor terrace and patrons flock here under the warm sun. In the winter, a fire warms your heart and soul as you discover local country products made and served like nowhere else.
