Everything was perfect. Food, service and ambience. We really enjoyed our tableside service. Our Caesar salad, filet mignon and crepes were prepared right in front of us. All of the serving team members who looked after us were fantastic. Our main server who prepared our food tableside was I believe named Alain. He gave us great suggestions for wine and... More

This was one of our dinner reservations and it was the best. Just a block from the Frontenac Hotel. Be sure to have one of the table side flambé entrees.

We travel a lot, so of course, we eat out a lot. It is seldom that we have a meal that stands out so far above the rest, that you keep talking about it and wanting to relive the experience. Both our caesar salad and our filets were prepared table-side. So not only was the food incredible, the experience was... More

My wife and I had been here before, separately, in the 1960's with our respective parents. It was even better than we remember. I guess, as adults, we appreciate fine dining more. Many dishes are prepared table side. We had the caesar salad, duck and crepes suzette. All were prepared table side, The waiters are dressed in tuxedos. The service... More

Because we live outside of Chicago, a city known for steak, we usually opt out of steak houses when we travel, in favor of regional cooking. Our last night in Quebec City, we decided to try Le Continental based on the excelled reviews, and we are glad we did. My husband ordered the prix fixe menu and I had the... More

It is the best French Restaurant in the Quebec City. We were there at 13th of September for dinner. The service was excellent and we didn't put in an isolated area as in Restaurant Le Saint-Amour. The person who serve us was very professional and the way he cooked the food was amazing. My recommendation: It is a must visit... More

A great old fashioned place with all male waiters wearing white tux and serving many dishes table side. Menu extensive but the flambes are most popular. We got veal entrees which were very good. We loved the butter balls served on a bed of ice in silver butter dishes. Such old charm! It's pricey especially if you have your entree... More

Food, atmosphere and service was all excellent. Enjoyed the best Filet Mignon I've ever had - prepared at our table by our waiter! We also had the Caesar Salad prepared at our table which was also delicious. All 4 of us in our party thoroughly enjoyed the food. We were told that a jacket and tie were required, but my... More

We had an amazing diner experience. Our waiter Matthew cooked the shrimp flambé table side which was fun to watch. He was so professional and attentive with his service we felt we were the only ones in the restaurant despite a fully booked night.

A group of 8 attended dinner at Le Continental on the advise of one of the group that had previously dined here. We were escorted to a guest room all to ourselves (the main restaurant was quite busy and very nicely appointed. We were celebrating - so drinks a bottle of Champagne, dinner wine and desserts - all fantastic -... More
