With all the food options available today from Hipster Chic to Nouvelle Cuisine, it is sometimes good to go back in time and revisit the classics. Le Continental is just such a venue. Half expecting to see Christopher Walken wearing an Ascot, Le Continental prépares...More

First I recommend having a reservation. We did so no issue being seated. Maitre d was in a tux. This is not a cheap place but also not at all unreasonable for the quality. Atmosphere is semi formal with waiters in white dinner jackets. Good...More

Exquisite French cuisine, courteous service and cozy atmosphere, this is our favorite restaurant whenever we are in Quebec City. We particularly enjoyed the flambé scampi, flambé fillet mignon en boîte and fillet of sole. The dessert Crêpe Suzette is also one of the best. It's...More

Had a wonderful meal of chateaubriand for two, cooked tableside. Most steaks and fillets are cooked to order right in front of you. The dish came with a parsnip and carrot puree, as well as grilled fresh vegetables. Beautiful atmosphere.

Resort casual - slacks, nice shirt.. no need to be fancy. If you want to dress up you can as well and you won't feel out of place.

I agree with the others. If your children are accustomed to fine dining, they will be welcome.
