I thoroughly enjoyed afternoon tea at Champlain. I thought there were plenty of teas to select from and also enjoyed the variety of sweet & savory food items.

Had an afternoon high tea. Really fun experience. The food is ok (par any other high tea trays from the OLD NYC Plaza Hotel, e.g.), but the tea selection was excellent, and the view/experience in a luxury setting was a nice treat.

I had a late night business meeting (on a weekend) and Champlain was so convenient within the Fairmont Hotel. We were not going to have a full dinner at the hour we met and the service staff had no issues (some restaurants would). We ordered nice wine from the very extensive wine list and shared the le terroir board. For... More

We had a lovely afternoon tea at Champlain. We had accidentally booked the wrong day but we rang up only an hour before hand and the situation was easily resolved and we were able to rebook! It was lovely to have a view of the Saint Lawrence whilst indulging in a range of savoury snacks and sweet treats. There was... More

Went to this restaurant to celebrate our Anniversary. Had high hopes for a memorable meal but it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. I ordered the sea bass. It was a small portion (which I expected) and it was served with four leaves from a brussel sprout (yes, leaves) and two small radishes. Neither constitute a side dish in... More

While I booked my reservation to celebrate an anniversary, I wish I had talked to the locals before I went, as what they said we truly experienced. Arriving early, I checked in to confirm our reservation and had hoped we would be able to get a table near the window, which I was told we might. We had a drink... More

After reading some of the reviews, I was slightly apprehensive about the dinner reservation I'd made here. We'd eaten here several years ago and had a great experience. Upon entering one can definitely tell that renovations have taken place; evidence of the previous décor is long gone. However, the food did not disappoint. Our waiter was friendly and properly attentive.... More

Interesting and delicious presentation of sweet and savory treats, though pricey. We were disappointed since we were kind of stuck in a spot where we couldn't see out a window. I ordered the rooibos tea and my husband ordered the sublime organic (rose and chamomile) which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The only two things we didn't enjoy were the blue... More

The chef's tasting menu was amazing and our server Etienne made our experience that much more special. If you want the best, go no further ...eat at the Champlain when in Quebec City.
