My wife and I had lunch at Le Clocher Penche this past week. The food is French bistro at it's best. Everything was fresh and lovingly treated. We had local salmon and local grass fed beef. Both were lightly handled and perfectly expressed their true nature. The bar is nice and makes a fine drink. The place is a little... More

Modern bistro serving French food. The best ingredients and the results were delicious. Service was slow the night we went, but it was worth it. This is not an air conditioned restaurant and it was quite warm when we went. Ask to sit near a window. Reserve in advance.

The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all lovely here. An unexpected dessert-appetizer was supplied while we waited for our meal. Medium portion size. Great flavour. Would go again!

The food was very good and the menu selection was interesting. The side of vegetables was original and included less used veggies like fiddleheads. Everything was perfectly cooked and well presented. But the meal was not memorable. We found everything good but nothing fantastic or exciting. This is a good restaurant, but it just didn't stand up to other restaurants... More

I suggest a reservation. In a hip part of town. Very good food, not fabulous. I went for Brunch. The Mocha (coffee) was good. Lively, good service.

Stopped in for brunch before leaving QC city and was it ever a good decision to do so. I had not done any research on this place so my wife and I went in not knowing what to expect. We both got brunch and were taken back by the flavors. My plate was the eggs beni and my wife was... More

I've been to this restaurant twice now and will make the effort to go whenever I'm in the Quebec City area. Original menu, very well designed meals and great plating. Meals are not cheap, but 100% worth the price you pay.

We ate here on the recommendation of our travel agent. We were not disappointed. Not only was the food delicious, the presentation was lovely as well. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We got seats at the bar but had to be out by 11am! We did not mind and we're not disappointed. We ordered the eggs Benedict and the waffles with poached eggs. The food came quickly. We even had my latte to-go. Our meal was filling without being overly heavy and believe it or not, it lasted all the way... More

A very nice bistro with a very good selection for brunch. The modem French dishes were great albeit a bit heavy on the cream (as it is to be expected I suppose). Make sure you have a reservation, even during the day.

Thank Bernal A
