At first I thought we were lost. With our trusty GPS we drove excitedly into the countryside. You need to watch for the signs and you may think you are in the driveway of a large private home. The moment you enter the restaurant your are treated like royalty. You will have several explosions of flavor as the wine parings... More

We went to this restaurant based on the reviews! Big mistake! All the meats served to us were cold and heavily salted - it was obvious they had been prepared hours (and perhaps days) in advance! The brussel sprouts were like leather - literally impossible to chew! The fisherman's platter was completely flat tasting, but for the smoke salmon (which... More

Tanière - cuisine boreal was at a food festival in Saint-Adèle over the Labour Day week-end. They had divine little snacks - I particularly liked the "celeri-rave" and "crevettes de Matane" my husband ordered. We should have gone back to thank the chef! Also bought pickled fiddle-heads which I love and are hard to find- hope they are as good.... More

this restaurant offers a real gastronomic experience. I live in Quebec City and have been there a few time over the years. Il has always has been and stil is exceptional. Known from local people for many years, il is specialized in wild meat and local products. The preparation and presentation are amazing and very unique. A bit expensive but... More

We had the 15 course meal with wine pairings this past week, and we were amazed. The service was impeccable (Kevin was fantastic!), and it was clear that no detail had been spared. The meal was sublime and showcased a variety of local ingredients. It is impossible to pick a favorite course since they were all so great. We were... More

Best meal I ever had. Pricy but it is a 5 diamonds restaurant and it is worth it. We had the 20 courses meal with wine pairing... amazing. If you can afford it, do it!

I was there with my wife and our best friend couple for a diner few month ago . We took the big menu, It was very impressive...from the design of the plate, the culinary research for each plate, food quality, presentation, the professional service, the atmosphere. It is really a culinary experience which focused on the molecular style and local... More

We didn't properly research how FAR away from the city center this restaurant was, so please note this before you make a reservation. We paid a huge round trip cab fare for this dining experience. HOWEVER, it was worth EVERY PENNY, as it was a delightful experience and one of our most unique, delicious meals we have ever had. The... More

Visiting from Chicago, US, where fine dining is plentiful, it's hard to surprise us. I've researched this place for my birthday dinner celebration. It did not disappoint! Driving to get here, through the fields and suburbia, we didn't know what to expect. Inside, the restaurant is very tastefully decorated. The food was exquisite! We should have heeded prior reviews and... More

Yesterday the web came through again! A bit of research pointed to Restaurant La Taniere as a likely good and interesting meal. We were able to get a reservation and it proved to be every bit that. Diners select a menu degustation of 10, 15 or 20 courses with optional accompanying wines. My wife and I opted for the mid-range... More
