Small restaurant limited menu but high quality food. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Very popular restaurant so booking is recommended.

we ate here 2 times once for lunch and once for dinner and both times had the best food! Sophie is sweet waitress and the entire place is in a 1700 year old building with much of the walls showing and reminded us of Paris!

We went here because it looked so quaint and cozy, but unfortunately the food did not live up to the atmosphere. Rather bland cassoulet, average onion soup. Moules mariniere plentiful but not all that interesting. So many other places to choose from in that neighborhood...wish we had gone somewhere else.

Malo is the real thing- a French cuisine with a real kitchen and real French preparation. The salad was a true French salad- generous on the dressing with delicious flavor, goat cheese, and perfect toasts. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable. The osso buco was very good. The vegetables were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

Cosy cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. Wife had French onion soup and salad - both delicious. I had steak frites with salad - a wonderful choice. Service was friendly and attentive. House wine was tasty and reasonably priced.

Definitely get reservations for this tiny place! The cassoulet is wonderful and quite filling. The house wine is excellent by the carafe, and a real bargain. The ceilings are low, however, so NBA players need to be careful entering or standing up too fast.

What a find in the neighborhood! The cassoulet du jour was divine. White beans, duck, sausage in a delicate broth. Yummy onion soup. Need to have a better baguette however.

We found this inviting and cozy Bistro on our first night in Quebec. The waitress was very kind and found us a table to wait at because we did not have a reservation. We saw many people turned away and quickly realized this was a local favorite. And for good reason. Our meals had the most incredible flavors - the... More

This place was amazing! My husband and I stopped in late night (about an hr before closing) and were pleasantly greeted and given a cute table in the corner. The ambience was warm and charming, and the food was unreal. I haven't had French cuisine before so I relied on reviews in this forum to help, and boy they didn't... More
