After a private tour of Quebec our guide recommended Cochon Dingue for lunch. We enjoyed some cool drinks and very tasty poutine.

Me and my 4 children ate supper here during our visit to Quebec City. They had an affordable kids menu, menus in English and a server that spoke English as well which was very appreciated by us. The food was really tasty. We were thoroughly impressed. The location was in amongst a busy street surrounded by other busy restaurants and... More

We were 8 people, 6 adults and 2 kids, half English only, and half French. The staff accommodated us very well, without a booking, shifted a few tables. We had the lunch special all around, entree, main and beverage. Great value around $15-$20, the salmon fillet, shrimp sandwich and clam chowder were all very good, the cheeseburger was a little... We went here for our anniversary. We had told them it was our anniversary (23rd!) so surprised they didn't wish us a happy anniversary or something but nevertheless our waitress was very pleasant, we enjoyed the decor and our food (steak frite and fish and chips). We tried the sugar pie for dessert. Yummy but too heavy to finish. We... More

Just in town for one night with my family and the weather was beautiful. Found this place in a great location and only had to wait about 15 min for an outdoor table. The food was great. Very affordable kids menu. We ordered shrimp roll, fish and chips and steak and frites. Food came out quickly and everything was really... More

We really enjoyed sitting on the patio, eating great food and watching the people go by. The seafood in white wine sauce with a flaky biscuit topping was cooked and flavoured to perfection! Friendly servers, also!

I was a little trepidacious about the restaurant and what type of value we would get for our dollar but the food was excellent and timely. The service was friendly and overall a great restaurant.

What a great way to begin vacation. We sat outside and had a terrific breakfast and people watched on our first day in Quebec. The husband got crepes and I got eggs benedict with smoked salmon instead of canadian bacon. He thought it was too much of a good thing and would have preferred just smoked salmon or just regular...
