This is expensive and the food was not great. We had the steak frites and the steak was mediocre. I think it was around $25. We also ordered the fish and chips and it was tasteless and expensive for what you get. And the fish sticks were small. I think it was around $21. The service was really good though... More

So good we ate there twice in three days! I'm writing this review a month or two after our visit, so I don't remember the details -- but it was a little funky, the food was very good, and quite reasonable in price. Don't go if you want something romantic but it's a solid dining experience.

The staff waiting on our table were excellent. They were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Our food was mostly very tasty. The exception would be the french fries were dried out and hard unfortunately. Still a nice meal overall.

This is a huge restaurant that fills up rapidly and there's a good reason for that: this may have been the best breakfast I ever ate. Their special filled waffle was spectacular, large and full of goodies. My husband enjoyed his country breakfast, as well. The café au lait came in a bowl the size of a skating rink! Warm,... More

The smoked salmon and ribs were amazing. We had a great meal with a large helping, our only complaint was our server forgot us a few times ..

We had lunch there. The service was very good and friendly. The soups were home made and outstanding as well as the entrees. The local wine was great and reasonable. The ambience was great as well. Highly recommended.

My dad, son and I ate at this location for lunch, and we had a very good meal. We decided to eat here after seeing some of the great sights of Quebec City. I had heard about Cochon Dingue on TripAdvisor, so I asked my dad if he would like to eat here for lunch. Luckily, he agreed. I ordered... More

This is a typical Bistro like restaurant, it can be accessed from either Petit Champlain which requires walking down many stairs or from Rue Dalhousie. It can get very busy during holidays and lunchtime so be prepared to wait for your food, I found our waiter to be very, very slow and forgetful. The food is just OK, given the... More

Fantastic food at a reasonable price, lovely French atmosphere, staff slightly unimpressed with non-French speakers. We would eat here every day for breakfast.

Had lunch here for the first time. The service was fast and friendly. The loaded poutine was so delicious. It had pulled pork, sausage pieces wrapped in bacon and squeaky cheese curds and a great gravy. The duck burger was flavourful with Brie cheese, pear and caramelized onions. The curry mayo for the fries was a nice touch. Will definitely... More
