Another cute homey farm to table restaurant in Quebec City. Love the ambiance and the friendly wait staff. Don't expect a menu - it's written on a chalk board in french. But the waiter translates the menu word for word!

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the airbnb where we were staying down the street and we were able to get a reservation last minute on a Wednesday. Shortly after we arrived, a couple without a reservation walked in and was turned away, so we got lucky. The service is a little frighteningly slow. They don't have printed... More

Unable to get table at L'Affaire Est Ketchup, we were setup by what I imagine is their "sister" restaurant with a nice table. The restaurant is just a couple blocks from Ketchup and both are what I would call "off the beaten path" and the hustle / bustle of the touristy area of Quebec. Parking was easy (it's mostly metered... More

We had the champignons (mushrooms) with braised goat - amazing. Also a caesar salad with sturgeon and a fresh mozarella salad with fresh tomatoes. We sat at the bar and chatted with the owner and chefs. Do not miss this place and make reservations. It was the best food we had in Quebec.

My sister and I ate here on Saturday night past. It was suggested to us and we were thrilled! Here's why. It was small and quaint. The waiter was very personable and answered our questions on wine and food. We switched between French and English, so no worries - you'll get great service in both languages. We sat at the... More

Ate a great meal here on our first night in Quebec City. Very nice, fresh ingredients, local meat and seafood, and obvious attention to creating an interesting, diverse menu. Really enjoyed our meal here!

When I heard about this restaurant, I thought it was one of these establishments capitalizing on a catch name to attract attention, on top of being in one up and coming erea of town that see many restaurants come and go. I was wrong. The name is tacky(?), the food is great, inventive, tasty and generous. Place is small and... More

First of all, the food was spectacular, but the the service was another highlight of the experience. The team at this restaurant was lovely and helpful. We got a number of plates to share and every one was interesting and delicious. The wine selections were great and worth going by the glass to try some of the interesting choices. It... More

Not the type of place to have a romantic dinner (at least not at 6pm on Friday; it was pretty crowded), but the food was amazing. All of their ingredients are fresh daily, so their menu is different every day. I had the best pork chop I have ever eaten with a puree made from sweet potatoes on top and... More

This little restaurant offered so many tasty, creative choices, we would love to return to try a few more. The waiter was wonderful and our meals were lovely - different in all the right ways from something we might make ourselves. We would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Thank Amy W
