lovely little bistro with outside tables in lower town a little bit away from the hubbub of the town center. Excellent crepes!

A somewhat unassuming establishment that proves that good quality, well prepared food coupled with excellent service can make an excellent dining experience. In particular go for the scallops.

The owner/hostess greeted us and directed us to a wonderful seat outside with a view of people strolling by. The lunch menu is limited but that did not stop us from enjoying a Croque Monsieur and the veal ravioli with mushroom sauce. Both were delicious, nicely presented and seasoned, and perfected portioned for lunch. Quick service, but this is a... More

We had our first dinner here after we arrived in Quebec City. The restaurant is small inside and out. It's located right next to L'Echaude and seems to be sadly bypassed by tourists. We were surrounded by locals as we dined on cold spring pea soup and salad, then lamb shank and pork belly entrees. Everything was delicious and freshly... More

Lovely small bistro with limited--but excellent--menu. The veal ravioli with wild mushroom sauce was fantastic as was the orange-laced rice pudding for dessert. Outside terrace small but excellent for people-watching.

Thanks to a last minute cancellation, we managed to reserve a table on the sidewalk for dinner our last night in Quebec City. Several shop owners and a restaurant in Montreal had recommended it--and it was just perfection. my husband had the chicken special, and I had the cod on a bed of near-perfect parmesan risotto with tender asparagus spears.... By far, this little gem in the lower city gave us the best meal of our week. The woman - who appeared to be the owner - greeted us as if we were long-lost family and showed us to our reserved, outdoor table immediately. Food was superb: fish [cod] of the day [$28] was prepared perfectly and the tomato bocconcini... More

We looked forward to eating here after reading the reviews. We sat down hungry after a long day, and after ordering we politely asked the owner/waitress if they served bread. She rudely lectured us that this was not somewhere to expect a fast meal and if that is what we wanted, this is not the place for us. We were... More

I am in Quebec...I will eat crepes. We were hot and hungry after our walking tour and this Cafe was right around the corner with A/C. (Well, it was cooler than outside.) Beer was cold! I ordered the walnut, apple and cheese crepe while my companion had a spinach crepe. We were both pleased with our selection. Services was quick.
