The greenery makes this porch shady. The menu is simple but well prepared. The prices are also good. Eggs any way and great omelets, as well as other a la cart options. The service was good as well.

I organized a dinner here for a group of 20 people and I was very pleased for 3 specific reasons. First they were very helpful with the reservation and gave us a little side room. Second, the service was excellent and fast! Finally they didn't include the gratuity, which is unfortunately a common practice for parties of 6 or more!... More

Reasonably priced but I thought the food was just OK. the food came with Tomato slices that were underipe and tasteless. However, the Baguette was toasted and delicious Its pretty inside as well. friendly service. I would go back, maybe just order some thing else.

Went here for breakfast. Great location, and a nice patio. Our server was very polite, and we could tell he was experienced. Our only criticism was that we both ordered our eggs 'over hard' and they came back runny......could have bee a language barrier in ordering or just how they cook them at this place. Option for toasted baguette vs.... More

Took forever to get the attention of a waitress. She then walked away in the middle of taking our order. We weren't sure if she was coming back, but she eventually did. Thank god we weren't in a hurry. I liked my "egg" Benedict. Yes, one egg, seulment.

This restaurant has an excellent outdoor seating area. It is covered and has ivy growing on it. The food was very good. I enjoyed the canard. Our waiter was very helpful and patient with our kids explaining the French translations so we could all choose something we enjoyed. It was our first meal in Montreal and one of the best

Relaxes atmosphere with good service and food. This place reminds me of most bistros in Paris. Nice outdoor terrasse overlooking St-Dnis and Cherrier street. Lots of greenery and ample spaces. Indoor is spacious, simple with a full bar. Not a nightspot but a nice simple place to grab a glass of wine and a good meal. Menu is typical French... More

On our first night in Montreal a friend of ours had recommended that we try this place out as it's about a 5 minute walk from where we are staying. Our first impression from across the street was that it was such a cute and charming place with a lovely outside space. The food is not a disappointment... simple but... More

Good menu and price. The restaurant is very nice. Quick service. Good wines. Close to the metro Sherebrook. It's was just missing the pan au chocolat to be perfect! I recommend!

Well established bistrot. Well situated on a major commercial street in Montreal. Adequate service. Varied meals responding to different tastes. Unfortunately the concept could benefit from new ideas. Not very innovative.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
