I wish I lived closer then the 40 minute drive, or see I’d be here at least once a week. Hailing from Texas, having lived in California, and after spending quite some time in Mexico, I’m not an expert, but have a varied palate for...More
The menu is not in English so the young lady who works there translated and helped us choose what to order. Ordered chorizo taquitos, barbacoa taquitos, and vegetarian flautas. Highly recommend food and service was top notch!
I have travelled to Mexico often, food tasted as authentic as possible, which is not always easy to do in a foreign country. Service was friendly and useful. Atmosphere is very basic yet relaxed and cosy. I will certainly go back whenever possible.
Once again I must praise this place, service is quick, food is amazing as always, when you go on Wednesday they have a 1$ taco day, what else would you like to know? I think that’s pretty much all and you should defiantly try!
Visited with coworkers today and had some really good food. We had nachoes, guacamole and the tacos.
Everything was fresh, tasty and well made.
Service was speedy and friendly. The price for the 6 of us including drinks, way to much food and tips (20%)...More

Probably the best tacos I've ever had. Authentic Mexican food in Montreal, friendly staff as well. All staff speak French, English and Spanish so for Spanish speakers you can order and talk to staff in Spanish! 5/5 would recommend for everyone.
Hit the trifecta of good service, great tasting and authentic food and dirt cheap prices makes Mr Azteca a serious contender for best taco place in Montreal.
The soup in pictures is a tortilla soup and was also delicious. Cheaper than that? Go on Tuesdays...More

The most ethnically diverse of all of Montreal's neighborhoods, Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension (or, Parc-Ex) stands at the city's center, a hub for rail and metro traffic. Starting at the old station where the Canadian Pacific used to disembark, the brick-and-mortar surroundings of Parc-Ex have a homey feel, with leafy lawns and bicycle lanes seamlessly incorporated into the landscape. With prominent Greek
and Spanish communities, Greektown includes the tastiest stops for brochettes and shawarma, and local bars entertain an excitable soccer fanbase. Jerry Park and Stade Uniprix stand ready for sports diehards to enjoy a game, while the the Complexe Environnemental Saint-Michel and Le Taz skate parks invite athletes to train and compete. Though built for the active and best by day, Cirque du Soleil, the TOHU center for arts, and the Le Boulevard shopping center offer diversions for those who wish to stay late.
