The staff was friendly, the order came quick. But if youre a wine lover, you got to see their underground adega. it´s quite a view. And their prices are honest. It´s worthy!

As we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by the smell of cigarette smoke as their ceiling to floor windows were open to their patio where customers were smoking. They brought stale bread to the table with no butter or olive oil. The ravioli...More

Looked like a cool, hip Italian and wine bar with all windows wide open to the sidewalk. Montreal does this well and it's important in the summer to take advantage of this! Stopped in to enjoy a prix fixe lunch menu with excellent wine by...More

The mac & cheese is unlike any other I've ever eaten. The chef was kind enough to give me the recipe. The décor is trendy like some places I've seen in Chicago. If you are in Montreal it's worth a try.

We had an average dinner here at Sofia, in Downtown Montreal. The veggie starter was good, yet very small. The main (lasagna) was average and I hardly ate any. Wine OK. Service fast and attentive. The drawback was given by the loud crowds and the...More

What a great find right across from the Residence Inn on Peel Street. Service was excellent from beginning to end. We both ordered the prix fixe menu: beef tartar, breaded veal with pasta, and chocolate cake for one, and arugula salad with the best tasting...More
