Tried this place one evening and kept coming back again for more. I loved everything about this place, starting from the setting, ambiance, nice service and most importantly exquisite food. A must try!

Tampopo used to be a good place but now is really disappointing. The pad thai is extremely blend and barely has any taste and same goes for the soup. Would not recommend.

It is definitely a cozy place for a rainy day. The food is very good, and the portions are generous. It is worth it!

The food is very tasteful. I would recommend the vegetarian dumplings & the Pho soups. This is a good place to order from for asian food in the Plateau. It takes about 1 hour to get to your place, which is not bad.

I arrived at Tampopo and I was 2nd in the line up. There are not a lot of seats, the tables were full and I was left with the option of sitting at the bar. One of the staff was nice enough to ask people at the bar if they were ok to move a little so I could have... More

Good asian restaurant. We go at least once a year. You sit on the floor or at the bar. Service is good and fast. The manager is very nice. The food is good, not five stars but good enough for a nice night out with the kids. My kids love this restaurant.

I prefer ordering in from this place as the food is good but the seating and decor are just too bad to even be kitsch !

Ordered via delivery upon recommendation from a friend. The girl on the phone was pleasant, and said the food would take 45 minutes to get to my place (which isn't too bad, but not exactly fast either). It took 1 hour and 40 minutes from the time I called for the food to be delivered (I live 10-15 away by... More

Asked for a Pad Thaï with tofu and I get some sort of white noodles that were completely tasteless. Eat there not long ago and it was decent, but this last order was a total disappointment. Eating in a place where all the Plateau yippies are barefoot isn't either a plus for me.

It is like being in a little asian snack bar in Tokyo but you are on le Plateau! Really good and not expensive.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
