Mesa 14 continues to innovate with their menu offerings. The restaurant has two levels including a more private are in the back of the first floor. Service is generally good, the food delicious, and the ambience inviting. My favorites here are fajitas for two people, taco salad served in a tortilla bowl (which you can eat at the end), and... Loved the food. Sampled several different tacos. All were great. Sangria was good. Waitress was really friendly. I loved the vibe of the place. Location was perfect. Highly reccommend!

Its simply my favourite restaurant of all time. I went there maybe 10 of 15 times and I can assure you that I never had bad service, slow service or unfresh food like I read in the bad reviews. If you like spicy I highly recommend the Bandera Mexicana! And the Margaritas (they are 5$ on tuesday!!) :) LOVE it.... More

Invited to a party of 30 people on the second floor on March 4/2016. The meeting was at 6:30 p.m. Thought we would be there until dawn before we ate. In all fairness, I must ad that maybe for 2 people it's much faster and better, I don't know. Orders were taken around 7:30 and the meals started to trickle... More

I've been going to Mesa 14 since it opened up. I'm always on the lookout for new places to grab lunch since I tend to be downtown a lot around noon. This place is part of my regular rotation. And when I'm not downtown for lunch for a while, I miss it...! The owner/manager is a nice guy, always smiling.... More

Good food, margaritas, and really friendly staff (Scott). Comfortable bench seating with a bay window for good people watching. The Tijuana Chili Fries and traditional oven baked Burrito Del Barrio were good choices. Note: Limited lunch options of burritos and tacos (if you are looking for fajitas or more variety wait until dinner)

Just finished a great meal with excellent service. The mojito with honey was really good as was the salad.

We hear about this restaurant from a ad on radio and since we were downtown Montreal we decided to try out this restaurant. Very nice and clean place, the food was excellent. We sat in a discreet brick booth with pillows. I wouldn't say that this restaurant is cheap but it's not overly priced either.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
