Had a beautiful dinner with two friends, the staff was kind and the food was really good. I ate good and had a great time there. I Recommend it

Really, the best octopus I've ever had anywhere by far, and all the other dishes were very good in comparison to traditional Spanish tapas even though this restaurant, or because this one, has a more widely international flair. Worth visiting. p.s. it's below street level under the brown awning - hard to find on Rue St. Denis

I was disappointed by the quality, quantity and price. Our first dish was a soup which was quite good and gave us promise that this would be a great meal. We went for the $40 meal for 4 people. The cheese dishes were fine. We added the octopus and was disappointed the dish was quite small but worst yet quite... More

Disappointed with the ridiculously small tapas portions that were overpriced. Quality was average. Have had far better reasonable priced seafood tapas elsewhere in comparison. Decent wine list however they were out of our first choice. Not recommended.

It's actually a very long time ago I went to this restaurant, but just wiring the review now. This is one of the best food I had so far during the road trip. I still remember the freshness of the food (or in my case the squid). and that's about it. Since I rarely save a review to be finished... More

Warning: it says "tapas" but It's not a spanish restaurant...It's fusion/gourmet cuisine (delicious food) served in small portions ("tapas"). Good tips: -Order two tapas per person. -Everything we tried was delicious (from cheese to salmon, mini burgers...) -Sit on swings! It's fun :) -Not all the options on the menu were available... disappointing! -Waiter was super kind! -make reservations! -yes.... More

We arrived and were seated by their friendly staff. However, when I tried to order a drink, they were out of the wine I wanted, which is fine, these things happen and the waiter recommended me a similar option. It then came to order the meals, and everything we picked on the menu they did not have. They only had... More

We went for the two person Tapas and were not disappointed by the selection and flavours. The wait staff were brilliant and very knowledgeable on both wine and beer for the dish being served next. We were not seeing a show so had no rush or pressure to eat and leave, either self imposed or by the wait staff.

I have been here twice, the service is very friendly and the tapas options are very nice. My friend loved her choice of lobster mac n cheese, while I really enjoyed the spicy chocolate "fondant" (type of lava cake) and wine suggestion. The waiter was very friendly and patient. We tried the swing seats and they were quite comfortable! It... More

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
