A chocolate lover's paradise. Came in out of the rain to this spacious dessert restaurant. We shared a dark chocolate fondue with a fruit plate. It was superb chocolate and not too sweet. My friend had a chocolate and ice cream dish with whipped cream. Similar to a chocolat mou. It really got lost in the whipped cream. Reasonably priced... More

Its definitely a Chocolate Heaven. I tried a trio platter which included: mini lava cake, mini salted caramel brownie bite, scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and mini thick hot chocolate.......it was all dreamy and delicious. If you love sugar rushes, it's a must.

We went to Juliette & Chocolat twice - once for lunch and dessert and then another time just for dessert. Overall, the place offers great chocolate desserts, drinks, and coffee. We also went there for lunch but the lunch offerings are very few - salads and buckwheat crepes - so skip the lunch and head directly for dessert. The dessert... More

The hostess was really friendly and recommended a great selection of drinks from the menu.I tried ‘Los Ancones’ ,an Organic chocolate from Santo Domingo, texture was strong , you could inhale hint of spice and oh boy.. That was heavenly delicious. -:). I topped that with a chocolate strawberry crepe, there is something about the way french people make their... More

If I could I would go to this place at least once a week and probably gain 13948572939 pounds. I love it so much! Their chocolate desserts are amazing. I recommend their salted caramel brownie, chocolate lava cake with the salted caramel sauce, chocolate madness crepe or a nice chocolate fondue. Regardless, I have yet to try something I don't... We've been here twice. The first time our waiter disappeared halfway through our meal - we noticed when it was taking over 30 minutes to get dessert. We finally snagged another waiter and asked if it was normal - he said it wasn't, came within 5 min. with our desserts and we didn't have to pay for them. It seemed... More

I went alone and the waitress (Katrina) was VERY friendly and everyone in the shop generally seemed cheerful. Also, amongst the staff, I heard them speaking to customers in English-Spanish-French, so it's a comfortable place, multi-lingual place. I had a chocolate and walnut covered ice cream sandwich with chocolate cookies and raspberry ice cream. It was SO GOOD. They have... More

Visted this eatery in May as I was passing by. The interior is roomy and pleasantly decorated. As it was sunny I chose to sit out side (only about 10 seats) so I could watch the world go by. The waitress (in uniform) were all very pleasant (especially Sophie) and service was excelent. It was one of the nicest Salads... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
