Good place for lunch, with good salads. Could not resist dessert either -- after all, this is a "chocolate place", and the desserts did not disappoint! Nice staff as well!

The food was good although it was a little on the pricey side for what it was. The place felt really cold because it was bare with white walls and our table was very close to the one next to us.

Love this place, once you get in you just wanna eat everything you see in the tables... You see chocolate fondue and fresh fruit almost in every table. Kind of makes you feel happy as soon as you come in. Yeah that's the power of chocolate! My friend had a crepe which was decadent and my dark Chocolate tasting was... More

I was on holiday in Montreal when I came across this restaurant. I went with 11 members of my family and they were able to accommodate us. The various desserts you can get are amazing, they look fantastic and taste good too! My cousin also ordered one of the salads which she commented was tasteful. I would definitely come back... More

I was at the Saint Catherine location and the place wasn't exceptionally busy but it was definitely understaffed. We were seated by the host and then she left us for about ten minutes without water or menus. So I got up and asked for English menus, and instead of just giving it to me there she told me she'd bring... More

The buckwheat crepes were a savory surprise! I wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much. Unfortunately, we didn't have room left for the chocolate tasting that we had planned. If I return, I'm going for the chocolate tasting first. We settled on a sampler dessert and the warm, chocolate brownie which was just terrific. I cannot go back to regular... More

Overpriced, bad quality. Service is slow. I don't understand why they seat tables of two against the wall and then tables of four right next to them. You feel stuck in a corner. It is not comfortable at all.

This is a very easy review to write. Just get anything on the menu! The best place for desert I have ever been to, period. All the brownies are gluten free but you would never know. Seriously Amazing!

Even with a three star rating I want to go back and try more. We had a late dinner and the dark chocolate tasting. Because it was late they brought the chocolate tasting first, I found it interesting but I do not think I would get it again. The savory buckwheat crepes were good but not great. I want to... More

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
