I was served in no time. The food was delicious, and inexpensive. The staff members are very nice and kind, and really seem to enjoy doing their job. I got so satisfied I now can't wait to get back to Montreal, someday.

I would have given Aux Vivres a 5-star rating for having made fairly consistently delicious vegan comfort food since I started going there, but recent changes have left me disappointed. They seem to have changed the tzaziki which was a favorite among my friends. It used to be thick and delicious. Now the consistency can only be compared to a... More

We have been there a number of times. We are not vegan but our daughter who lives here is but everyone will be happy about the choices. We all love the BLT with the toasted coconut. The atmosphere, service and food is great. The prices are not bad at all. Be sure to check out the desserts. I had the... More

Very busy vegan restaurant. My other half loves vegetarian. So here we are. My burger was enjoyable. My partner had a salad which was ok. They do good looking smoothies. So quite enjoyable.

This is a high-end vegetarian restaurant with an extensive menu and many interesting choices. I always eat there when I go to Montreal, and I've tried several things. All were great. Salad bowls are especially good.

The service time in this restaurant was surprisingly quick and friendly. I'm not a vegan but my friend dragged me here and I was surprised by how great and flavourful the food was. I didn't expect to walk out with my belly full but I did and I'd definitely go here again. From what I've heard, some busy days have... More

Every time we visit Montreal, our last day consists of breakfast here that never disappoints, with take out lunch for the drive home.

I did not try this food in the restaurant, but rather at a food stand at the Osheaga music festival. It was so good I ate it everyday and HAD to write a review! The dragon bowl was so delicious and filling. The vegetables were amazing and fresh and that sauce was unreal! The other thing I tried was the... More

My parents are not vegan and I'm kind of vegan friendly (became vegetarian two years ago), this restaurant was awesome: very big portions and great quality, surprising food combos and colorful presentation! Loved that, especially during a very hot August day

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colorful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
