We visited this place for dessert on Saturday night. Yes it was very busy but this was no excuse for what followed. We waited ages for our order to be taken and then about half an hour for our dessert of a chocolate fondue cake and a fondue sharing platter. We were seated by the till/kitchen and observed a fondue... More

My friend and I visited Juliet's twice during our stay in Montreal. The first visit was for lunch and dessert the second just for dessert. Both times we had wonderful service from the staff and the food did not disappoint. The savoury lunches were just as good as the desserts and both times we left having eaten so much we... More

The brownies were really good. Nice and moist with great chocolate flavor. The brownie ice cream sandwich was not good. It was frozen burned and didn't taste good.

A pricey option, but the quality of the baking and presentation never disappoints. You're able to take out, but sitting on the terrasse and people watching adds to the experience.

My son had a milkshake, which means something different in Montreal than in Boston--so remember to order a scoop if ice cream in in. We also got a pot du citron, which was cute and served in a very tiny jar. There was a layer of crumble on the bottom, some lovely, tart, lemon, and then a kind of meringue... More

We went to the Laurier location on a Saturday afternoon, the outdoor terrasse was beautiful and the area very calm, we ordered vanilla ice cream sandwich, Grandma style and dark chocolate tasting. All of them were excellent, it can be pricey but it is worthly.

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
